Roma paid around 18mln for him, so did Southampton. So yeah, we're probably not the only squad that would do something like that.

Imagine this forum if we were selling a 28 year oldstriker who was involved in bust ups and scored 3 goals in half a season

"No guys you're all being fkn delusional if you think we can get more than 5 Million for him"

But since it's the other way about, we're probably gonna pull the trigger and buy a Southampton reject. Then some people act as if it's a good deal.

ok so we sell those 2 and replace them with osvaldo who is hardly going to improve on that quality though, such a sideways move and it doesn't even make any economical sense!
We're not looking to improve the quality of our attack, but only to fill void space left with the departures of the mentioned duo, preferably with someone who'll be more than a decent sub; and you'll hardly get a good player in these inflated times for less than 15m (somewhat random price). Llorente and Tevez have enough quality among themselves to be considered as a permanent attacking pair in the next few years at least, so adding someone like Mandzukic, as I've seen people around here mentioned his name, wouldn't make much sense.
