The problem with signing strikers in the category of Matri, Quagliarella, Vucinic and Giovinco for Juventus is that the fee and salary we give them makes them a hard sell if and when we want to do that. We don't want to sell them for a measly fee that lower Serie A teams can afford, and they don't want to take a wage reduction to play for a less prestigious team.
This is where intelligent management can take at least some gain from Iaquinta's situation. Whole team were shown an example what happens to player when he refuses to accept offer from lest prestigious team. Hard fist policy should work. Guseppina has to find some balls in his pants. Moggi wasn't too gentle in cases like this. Was he?

Dont care if he arrives to be Llorente's sub.as we give them Quag for him and sell Matri this summer as well.
If he ready to be a sub, then fine.

He won't be worse than Matri i guess.

You won't be saying you don't care in 3 years when we are trying desperately to get rid of this fucker and no clubs are willing to take him off our hands, trust me.

you'd like osvaldo but you totally objected to Drogba... :sergio:
See how Drogba brought Galatasaray to the CL semi finals ?

You're comparing two completely different things. Get over it.

Osvaldo has a future is more then half fit and doesn't demand a ridiculous salary while being a bench option. Clearly better.

Osvaldo is no better than Mattress and Quag, if we are seriously considering him we might as well just keep what we have.
spot on with that one...we'll end off loading mid table level forwards to replace them with midtable level forwards.

no thanks...we need a level above what we have now.

I don't hate him as much as most people here do, but no, definitely not what we need. Could be a good bench option if we already had Strikers we can rely on. This guy won't make us any better than we are now. Buying him is a step backwards and further away from our goal of reaching the level we used to be on.

Osvaldo would definitely be an upgrade over Quags/Matri. There is almost no denying that... Get your head out of your ass if you're thinking that.
Anyone saying that, is just basing his opinion on their 'top player' ambitions...

:blah: :blah: :blah: An upgrade? Perhaps. A necessity? Fuck no. We'd be wasting time and money on this fucking piece of shit, and before you know it, we are stuck with his crappy attitude, wages, and can't get rid of him unless his contract expires. Osvaldo is exactly the type of player we should be avoiding.

Of course he's not a necessity, but if the deal can be made fast, why not ? It would take time to sell Quags anyway & he has about the same ego.
In a cash only deal we shouldn't even think about it.
