Not exactly. There was one song where this guy, Keak da sneak, said "hyphy". It's meant to be like "being fucked up" or super intoxicated and crazy. Then there is a whole wave of bay area rap artists that came out (Andre Nickatina, Mac Dre, Keak, E 40) . They all make like party songs, intended for teenage house parties or people being crazily fucked up. Every rap artist has their own. well known to the public, drug of choice. (E40 and Mac dre are about thizzing, andre about chewy an coke). Basically every single teenager (of the partying/live it up type) in the yay area lives by this shit. All the wiggers take it seriously and buy 500$ grills and shit, but even all the other social groups do it, jokingly or not. Like my friends and I all realize how stupid it is havign music purely about doign drugs and driving around, but we all listen to it anyways.
