Im with the people that say that is not Zlatan fault, its Capello.

Its not Zlatan fault that Capello live in wonderland and puts a player who is coming from an injury to start in what probably is one of the most important games of the season.

Its not Zlatan fault that Capello uses the "lest just give the ball to Zlatan" system when he is in the game.

Zlatan is a good pplayer, and most importantly he is very young, but if Capello keeps puting this team on his shoulders then the kid is gonna fail, lets consider that this is his second season at the club, I mean is he ready to take the hole team responsability on his shoulders?

And another thing, everytime that Zlatan had a bad game, Capello insted of teaching him a lesson and put him on the bench in the next one, he put him in the starting line up again, and again and again, in Zlatan mind he must think "Well Im not doing so bad since Im starting every game"

Again, its Capello who should know who to use Zlatan and tech him how to develop has a player, and he has fail in that.

Actually what you said Espectro is what I've been saying earlier. This Capello treatment is actually destroying Zlatan instead of building him to become what he promises to be.

I agree with Rami, Zlatan's completely overated, this season his poor performances have vastly outnumbered his good displays, his TALENT has been found out by most defenders, his much hyped physical power isn't very apparent, his finishing is criminal. Passing and creativity to rival Ronaldinho and Riquelme? Yeah, in his dreams!

It's Capello who needs ousting. I wanna wake up tomorrow to the headline

"Capello sacked, extradited, deported with police escort"

I know and I agree with you, I mean if Capello would use him correctly and guide him Zlatan could be a great player, but Capello is failing in doing that, just how he is failing in bringing out the best of this team.

The kid doesnt need to watch Van Basten videos, he is not Van Basten, instead of that show him how to become a good player, show him how to use his habilities, show him what he is doing wrong, and dont "award" him with the starting line up when he is not playing good. dont put him to become the team salvator, he is not ready for that, and especially when you have alot of players in your team who can take that responsability (Nedved, DP, Camoranesi, Mutu, Cannavaro, Buffon, Emerson).

So are we going to judge him for one season? becouse if we are mesuring with that rule, then we should get rid of Vieira too,and 2 seasons ago we should have get rid of DP, and if we had use the same rule we should have get rid of Nedved after the first season at the club when he was awful.

Look, I know that Zlatan has not been great, but give the kid a break, this is his 2 season at a big club, I know that the kid is not Ronaldinho or Riquelme but he doesn have skills, he jsut needs a coach who can play him like he should.

Just becouse the driver is incompetent, doesnt mean that the car is a failure.

He was dreadful that 1st season wasn't he? I don't hate Zlatan or anything, he just infuriates me with his play and decision making. Capello obviously carries the can for this to an extent, I'm still pissed about this hideous performance tonight, we should all be used to it by now though! I'll get over it!

Zlatan's Problems:

1) Laziness on the pitch- He will not run to a ball. Will not show for the midfielders and is prone to standing around in offside position or just standing around in general which ruins the flow of play. This also takes away from his readiness to attack should a turnover occur.

2) No one has told him this. If Zlatan were to be more involved in the flow of the game then he would be less prone to his usual brain farts. Look at Eto'o and Larson of Barca or Henry of Arsenal those guys are involved end to end in the game and are therefore more production. Zlatan has the skills to succeed but needs someone to smack him around and show him the way.

The problem is, IMO, that Zlatan has more to learn about football than he could possibly comprehend and Capello isn't the man to teach him that. That much is apparent on the pitch.
