Or your gullible and believe everything the media tells you ? :seven:

But , no seriously. I believe everything is not always as they seem.
It's deductive logic and reasoning, which people just throw out the window with aplomb. People hear hoofs and immediately think zebras instead of horses. And people are quick to blame conspiracy where incompetence will suffice.

You have to be a major idiot to believe what this government tells you. For the past 20 years, we've seen nothing but lies and absolute idiocy from Washington.

This country deserves all the hardship it gets from trusting people of authority in Washington.

What difference does it make if it's a zebra or horse if it's charging at you? :boh: they both taste good right ? :seven:

OBL Apparently Killed

Of course nobody knew this at the close Friday, right? There wasn't a ~5pt spike on the close in the /ES futures as certain special people knew, right? (Pull the other one.)

Well, here's the problem with that little report, assuming the impending press conference is true: It appears he was killed in a mansion outside Islamabad.

Remember, the Pakistanis are allegedly sorta our friends. And the guy we've wanted for how long was basically living openly over there among them?

This is going to go over real well in the Islamic world, not to mention between Pakistan and the US.

NOT.

Folks, be careful. ThreatCon has been raised at US military facilities (with damn good cause) and the premise that this is unabashedly bullish news (good for ~1% on the futures straight up) is a bit ahead of itself, I suspect.

I'd be very careful with making any sort of investment decision based on this activity. While it's certainly good that OBL is dead (assuming he really is, that we really killed him, and that we're not recycling something that happened months - or years - ago for political purpose) it is entirely reasonable to expect that this is going to be a serious alteration of events in the Middle East, in North Africa, and particularly in Pakistan, which, I will remind you, has nuclear weapons.

Update: Word is that this was a "wetwork" operation - not a drone shot. To whoever took the shot, assuming of course that it was a sniper: Damn nice shooting!

As I said before, I'm sure that we've been watching him closely and waiting for a day when his death would be useful as a distraction/morale booster for the general public.

We have satellites that can find a penny on the ground, I bet that they could have killed him at anytime really.
Pakistan is not in the Middle East. It's also the only 'Muslim' nation with nuclear power. Trust me, they have to tread carefully when it comes to Pakistan.

Anyway, this is all irrelevant now. Pakistan helped kill Osama so for now Zardari's government gets to breath a bit.
I'm just saying that it hasn't really been US policy recently to deal with Middle Eastern governments that get in the way of our goals. The government seems to do just whatever they want.

He is apprentl dead, big freaking deal. The ideolagy is still a live in a lot of those brain washed youth, and there are way bigger issues to deal with than this moron hiding in his cave or wherever for the last 9+ years. If the Americans wanted to really kill him, they would have done that on September 12, 2001. This whole B S is just pure propaganda

Of course not. Some fat fuck will still stick his hands down your pants and masturbate to your naked body scanned images.
