i think lippi ought to stick with the rotation system.

IMO, last season when dv covered for dp he did quite well. but when dp returned dv was neglected. i think that was unfair, therefore, its best for lippi to just rotate all of em.

Definitely. Even when divaio was not totally well inserted in the team...he scored some goals because i remember that he was giving some good points to me in the CL fantasy.

IN Trez absent he did fairly well too... but after that newcastle´s game... he hardly played.

So IMO the rotation is the way.

could we ever see something like this ?

--------Di Vaio / Miccoli ------ Trezeguet --------

-----------------Nedved--------------------

Del Piero--------------------------Camoranesi

-------------------Appiah--------------------

Zambro------Montero----Legro-----Thuram

--------------------Buffon---------------------

yes, Del Piero on the left wing like he plays for Italy. He did a good job in that position against Wales.

I know its almost impossible that Lippi will go with that but i think its worth a shot !

If Italy can successfully have Inzaghi, Vieri, Del Piero and Totti in the lineup, i see no reason why Juve cannot have Trez, Di Vaio, DP and Nedved - seems pretty similar to me.

thats 5 defensive minded players and 5 attackers. It could work fine.

it would be terrible to see Di Vaio being benched when hes in such great form.

what do u think ?

Personally I love it, it'd probably be close to my ideal juve formation, but i'd take Trez out and put Del Piero in his place, with Miccoli in midfield. Lippi might even half-consider it, because it fulfills his criteria of a four-man defence :D

no tacchinardi. he's very underated. Too much work for appiah. he'll be exhausted. he'll die after afew matches. Lippi'll have to get a new DM.

That's an awful lot of responsibility to place on Appiah.

He's not quite at that level yet.

CSD's right. They'll need to have a defribillator machine on the sidelines at all times if they use that formation.

It would probably work really well in FIFA 2004.

Totti didn't play against Wales, or Serbia-Montenegro.

DP didn't play against Azerbaijan.

It will be tough for DP to sit on the bench when he comes back. There's no way you can sit Inzaghi down after what he's done.

And they need Vieri, he's the only physical presence they have up front.

yeah you are right... hopes Del P have so great a season that would make Trappatoni looks like the dumbest person in the world to put him on the bench at EURO 2004.....

i have to admit though that Trapponi will looks like he cruelest person now if he benched Pippo after his recent matches with the AZzzuri. :undecide:
