When DP returns we can play 4-2-3-1, which is essentially a 4-3-3 IMO. Micco on the right, Trez in the middle, DP on the left, and Neddy slightly behind and slightly infront of the two DMs.

-----------Buffon
Thuram Legro Monte Zamboy
------Appiah Tacchi
------------Neddy
--------Micco___DP
------------Trez

Just wondering...with Di Viao, Miccolli, and Trez playing well in Del Piero absence what would Lippi do if Del Piero himself stats to play well. Will we see Lippi be tempted to try a 4-3-3 formation? My question is should we see this what players should we start to make this formation work effectively. Keep in mind lets pick the players we have in our squad this year and if it won't work just say so.
sometimes i doubt if dp has a share in juve that affect lippi decisions to play i mean devaio and micoli is BETTER than him 100% now ,to let dp play and let these rwo on the bench make me wonder.

In my openion and i know a lot will be angry juve without dp is better because he makes the attack very slow.

Del piero is part of juventus! i think del piero does not make the attack slow at all, he is a creative striker which i think is needed in our team, he passes the balls to trezegol our finisher..
i think del piero is an important part of juventus....

Serie A Round 9: Best Eleven Of The Week

Lorenzo Sicignano (AC Parma)- Kept his team's sheet clean against mighty European Champs AC Milan in what was his Serie A debut.

Jonathan Zebinà (AS Roma)-With his concentration problems resolved, he can aspire to a starting role on the French national team.

Fabio Petruzzi (Brescia)-Brescia finally ended a match without one goal taken in, and the Roman born player deserves a lot of credit for this.

Marco Materazzi (Inter)-Solid defensive match and his third goal of the season.

Amantino Mancini (AS Roma)-With five minutes to play he scored one of the most beautiful goals in the history of Serie A against nonetheless than his side's city rivals SS Lazio. Simply memorable.

Cristiano Doni (Sampdoria)-As the weeks go by he is starting to slowly resemble the player we all admired at Atalanta.

Clarence Seedorf (AC Milan)-In the day Kakà played his worst match since joining Milan, the Dutch midfielder took over the reigns of the Rossonero midfield and initiated most of his team's dangerous plays.

Andy van der Meyde (Inter)-Finally was able to impress in a Serie A match, even though it must be said that Ancona weren't a difficult test.

Sergio Pellisier (Chievo)-His pair of goals helped nine man Chievo grab a fundamental win at Siena.

Ernesto Chevanton (Lecce)-He wanted to hit the net from 40 meters out, and did.

Marco Di Vaio (Juventus)-Saved Juve from an impending shock defeat with a fantastic brace. Red Hot.

Serie A Round 9: Worst Eleven Of The Week

11/11/2003.

Marco Tardioli (Perugia)-The Grifoni would have probably won their first match of the season if Kalac was guarding their net against Lecce.

Leandro Cufrè (Siena)-Chievo hero Pellissier toyed with him throughout the entire match.

Fabio Bilica (Ancona)-Slow and out of position. It's not a surprise Inter scored three goals, and could have scored many more.

Sergio Conceicao (Lazio)-Mancini handed him the chance to exit the dark tunnel he has been driving through for almost a year now, but he never saw the light against AS Roma.

Shunshuke Nakamura (Reggina)-Colomba gives him the nod after benching him in the past couple of games. Bad decision.

Matteo Brighi (Brescia)-When he was at Bologna two years ago his future looked extremely bright. But things are very dark for the youngster at present.

Kakà (AC Milan)-It had to happen, and it did. First bad game for the Brazilian sensation since he landed in the Serie A.

Lucas Castroman (Udinese)-Outplayed by Golden Ball candidate Zambrotta.

Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus)-His comeback match was everything but triumphant. First he misses the penalty that would have handed Juve the lead, then he makes way for Di Vaio, and Lippi's side begin to dominate Udinese.

Tommaso Rocchi (Empoli)-Failed to take advantage of the inventions produced by his attacking partner Di Natale, and once again the blue outfit ended a game without being able to hit the net.

Tore Andre Flo (Siena)-Might lose his starting role after two easy misses that would have salvaged a draw for the Tuscans against Chievo.

I'm tired talking about this. Why don't we pray for him to be better and better after his injury. In fact he is still Juve's captain, no matter his recent performance.

Also, Forza Juve..nice signature. I guess mine would go something like this:

All in good fun!

Sally not ONE win in our defense....BUT 6 of them....I guess what you could also call lame or sad is all those trips to the CL and only two wins: One by PK and the other in the midst of an urban battlefield. And then you question our win in May and look down on us TSK TSK "those Milanisita's! Are you guys for real....
On the other hand since we are so much less powerful with MANY less Scudetto's its kind of odd how we have 3 times as many CL and half the appearances.

Don't be nasty....:fero:

Oh yeah loved Lippi's comment a week before the match: ONE CL is worth 5 scudetto's: :blah:

So Milan is winning the CL more, and Juve is winning the Scudetto more. Each has their own specialisation, yet they have each won both. At least we are both beating Inter...
