Maresca aint coming back, get rid of Zalayeta and Micolli. Di Vaio was shit and the cash we got for him was good. Paro has no talent, never reaching world class while Boumsong can definitely shoot himself. Marchisio needs experience. Chielini is a prized treasure and we MUST stop relying on Del Piero.
Aint been around fer long in this forum and OMG even in serie B everything is Del Piero. Sure, he's good. Still has his touch but back into serie A? He has lost his pace. And is it just me who thinks he's getting more and more fragile? A slight nudge and topples. Perhaps one or 2 more seasons but once we are back to competitive stage especially in Europe, this squad really needs more improvements. I finally understand Buffon's frustration. All I hear is rumors and nothing ever solid is really happening in Juve's transfer.
Zanetti is a joke in serie A i'm sure you guys know it. And in this forum there are many idiots as well..... Your dream team are like wtf? Are we some Dutch or some Brazillian league? 2 fcuking Italians and the rest are an Ajax. If I remember correctly, there were people here who wanted a true Juventini and all those nonsense about Palladino being our prodigy, Giannichedda a true Juventus player and it doesnt matter whether he plays like shit as long as he loves the team and plays with his heart. So it seemed those days were gone again huh?
Back to the good ol' fan club who could only dream. A team overflown by youngsters who have an impressive one season.... I wont say i'm not one of those fans but then again try to think stability. Thats the number one thing we need. Get a team that gel together and get the serie A back soon. Screw Europe for now. We have a whole season. Neddy's possible last. Here i contemplate whether to post this and get screwed by ignorance people but hey, what the hell.......like i care
I´m not quite sure what are you talking about Del Piero. He was in a good shape throughout the whole season and this league is more physical than Serie A. I agree on new signings, we need several quality players and I can also understand Buffon´s frustration. All this talk from the board that we will be extremely competitive next season is just bullshit. We secured the signing of 2 average players which are excellent for a club like Palermo/Udinese but not for Juventus. We have a lot of promising youngsters but they will not bring us trophies if they are not throwed into roster with some experienced champions. I feel that there is a period coming in which we will be extremely frustrated with transfer operations, we will lose some player to other clubs, that is for sure. I can now understand Deschamps pessimistic attitude because without quality players he needs, we cannot expect him to create miracles with this team.

About Zanetti, I don´t think he is a joke, I think he actually was a solid signing and that we can rely on his good displays even in Serie A. :pint:

well said but what the hey, I was not saying Del Piero was bad this season. I'm just saying we cant rely on him so much anymore. We cant expect him to rise to the occasion everytime we need him like we used to. And Trezeguet aint the type of striker like DP. If you dont feed the bugger, he wont score. I'm saying we need depth on our strikeforce. And the nonsense most people are saying which really pisses me off is their future Juventus dreamteam is made out of not more than 4 fcukin Italian players. What do we want? An Italian Arsenal? I was just talking about Zanetti in the Hargreaves thread. And I'm pretty much judging from his appearance for Inter and Roma of the past. Since 2004 I seriously doubt his capability for now. He'll have to prove more to me i think. We were playing in Serie B you know. And imo after several tries in Serie A and he still fail to do so, then he's not worth it for us. Though after several convincing from some good posts i'd say give him a shot and prove me wrong.

and a nice guy too...

At Sevilla, he quickly emerged as a key player in midfield, crowning his debut season by capturing the UEFA Cup 2005-06 trophy, scoring two goals and being named Man of the Match as Sevilla swept aside Middlesbrough FC 4-0.Maresca donated the 10.000€ Man of the Match prize money to the San Juan de Dios hospital in Seville.

Roma Move Appeals To Maresca

Enzo Maresca’s agent says the player is happy at Sevilla but if forced to leave, would fancy a move to AS Roma.
After impressing in his first season at the Sanchez Pizjuan, the Italian has found starts harder to come by. He started the Uefa Cup final against Espanyol last week but was substituted at half-time by coach Juande Ramos. Maresca has two more years on his contract and his intention is to stay in Spain, said agent Candido Fortunato."If he had to leave and return to Italy, it would appeal to him to play for Roma. There is Luciano Spalletti there, a coach who has always considered Enzo highly. When he was in charge of Udinese, he wanted him in order to replace (David) Pizarro. Sevilla are one point off the Liga lead with three games left to play, and will face Getafe in the final of the Copa del Rey

It seem's that inter dont want to sell Pizarro in Roma

he is just courting clubs so that he gets people interested and sevilla get a good price for him, thats all. he was probably asked what he thought of roma and gave a standard answer that they are a great club, etc. lets be honest if juve wanted him and he had the choice he would return to turin in a heartbeat

but you cant turn down every woman that comes your way because you are still in love with a woman who no longer loves you
