The ex juventus players don't mean squat, including Lippi and Ferrara. One of the like 8-9 major clubs in the world in the three big leagues are bound to have a majority of players on the pitch.

Italy are just lucky that; Italy got an undeserved penalty vs Australia (which a non-Juve fixed and a non-Juve player scored), a late game winner vs Germany (which a non-Juve player scored). France are lucky that Henry dived home a freekick vs Spain that led to goal and that Brazil screwed up on their offside trap which led to victory. The World Cup is just a gamble between the big nations and the most lucky ones who got the margins on their sides goes to the final. 'Luckily' for us it was Juventus nation and a nation we like to buy players from.

How could you possibly know that Austalia should have won the game without a penalty?We were attacking them all the time untill the ref excluded Materazzi.

That thing about the French penalty in the start of the game could change the things.I meen that was a shock at the start of the game.Buffon didn't brake a record ,by the way.

What is wrong with Grooso's goal against Germany,I think it was a quite legal,so as Del Piero's goal(as you said unneeded) but yes,a Juventino scored a goal in that game,just for the record...and I don't want to separate the Juve ,Milan or other team players from the Azzurri squad,they were fighting for the same metter and I think that they were fighting like "one for all-all for one".

I will only separate one man,Cannavaro.That man deserved a golden ball,and in my opinion,the golden ball went into a wrong hands,a hands of an unfair player despites Fifa's "fair play" motto.

Are you joking? Italy were by far the better team before Materazzi was wrongfully dismissed. After the dismissal Italy let Australia come at them, but didn't concede more than a couple of good chances, which Buffon dealt with quite easily. Italy on the other hand had better chances than Australia, even if Australia had possession for much of the half. Then in the dying minutes Italy surprised Australia by pushing forward, and created real problems for the socceroos.

The penalty was in my opinion a correct decision by the ref. I really can't see why some people question it. Lucas Neill threw himself down to stop Grosso crossing the ball, but Grosso went the other way, and if it wasn't for Neill blocking his path, Grosso would have had a real chance. It was a clumsy and desperate challenge by Neill and he was rightfully punished for it.

Anyway, Italy deservedly won the World Cup, and the fact that 5 Juve-players played a more or less important part is amazing! Lippi masterminding the victory, with legend Ciro Ferrara as his assistant, makes it even better.

The best part is no matter what that Alessandro Del Piero finally is Campione Del Mondo! Our bandiera! And I saw him score the goal at Westfalen live! I can asure you it meant something to me and the Italian fans who were there, eventhough Grossos goal was the one that won it for Italy.

You're right,that goal made m soooooo happy because Del Piero is my fav player,and since Capello starts his anti Del Piero campaign by benching him,I missed some of Del Piero's actions so much,and that was the right gift for me.

The last part---->if you play the final you need to win it,because the same opportunity won't repeat....if we ,for example didn't manage to beat France i the final Del Piero,Canna,Totti,Camoranesi,Zambrotta,Matrix,Toni wouldn't win another one because they won't be participating the competition which will be played 4 years after this one.
On the other hand,Thuram,Zizou,Makelele,will not win their second gold,they didn't manage this time.
