Yeah imo it says we are a top team. But I wouldn't call us the greatest just yet.

No, we can't say that based on the World Cup. The Champions League is the deciding factor for club teams, at least in Europe. Barcelona is the team to beat at the moment. Even if they had no players in the World Cup final

But it was very important to show the world that italians and Juventus players are quality players. They win matches because of their quality, not because of the ref.

The last part---->if you play the final you need to win it,because the same opportunity won't repeat....if we ,for example didn't manage to beat France i the final Del Piero,Canna,Totti,Camoranesi,Zambrotta,Matrix,Toni wouldn't win another one because they won't be participating the competition which will be played 4 years after this one.
On the other hand,Thuram,Zizou,Makelele,will not win their second gold,they didn't manage this time.

The ex juventus players don't mean squat, including Lippi and Ferrara. One of the like 8-9 major clubs in the world in the three big leagues are bound to have a majority of players on the pitch.

Italy are just lucky that; Italy got an undeserved penalty vs Australia (which a non-Juve fixed and a non-Juve player scored), a late game winner vs Germany (which a non-Juve player scored). France are lucky that Henry dived home a freekick vs Spain that led to goal and that Brazil screwed up on their offside trap which led to victory. The World Cup is just a gamble between the big nations and the most lucky ones who got the margins on their sides goes to the final. 'Luckily' for us it was Juventus nation and a nation we like to buy players from.

All i was trying to say is The world cup final 2006 is really Juve. Why? because:
- 8 Juve players were on the field
- 4 ex. Juve player involve
- Lippi and Ferrara
- the best player and second best player is ex Juve and Juve player
- the best GK is Juve player
- 3 Juve players is the best defender
- Del Piero is top scorer for Italy (existing squad)
- Cannavaro is the captain of the Italy team
