That would make my brother Zambian with Belgian origin. I don't think it's relevant where you're born. It's relevant where you live and who your parents are.
My brother was born in Zambia cause we lived there for a couple of years, but then we moved back to Belgium. And yes, he could apply for the Zambian nationality, but IMO he's just as much Belgian as I am.

For all of you....he declared himself as citizen of Bosnia&Herzegovina on with a permanent obligation to Sweeden where he was borned and raised. But in his house in Sweeden primary language was: BOSNIAN-CROATIAN-SERBIAN which he speaks fluently(he even has a good bosnian accent like he lived in Bosnia for about 20y.) and I talked to him when he was on his vacation in Dubrovnik where he has his mothers house wich is next to my summer-house there. ****.....if he was REAL SWEED.....he would talk primary Sweeden.....but....he talks Balkan...
And now....I was borned in Germany,I went to international school,I have German citizenship,I played for German Junior-basketball team....does that makes me German? Fukk no.....Im a Croatian and I will always be cuz my non-german Croatian name tells me that Im Croatian. Germans will never consider me like their own,like you Sweeds wouldnt consider Zlatan like your own if he hadnt accomplished things he did right now. He would be just another imigrant in Sweeden. EOD
Take for an example his mother.....she was borned and raised in Bosnia but she is not Bosnian but Croatian. Its a little bit of complicated to understand Balkan mentality for the rest of the world....it seems that Zlatan(ours Zlatan,not Ibra) & me onley get the point.

She's not croatian, she's a bosnian catholic. Big difference. I dont know why I even bother.

I'm talking about nationality, not religion, and thats something people in the Balkans mix up all the time. You can be a bosnian catholic, orthodox or muslim. Just because you're a catholic doesnt mean you're croatian. Therefore, I dont think his mother is Croatian, she's a bosnian catholic, and hence, Zlatan is Bosnian, not croatian. You aswell now that Catholics in Bosnia consider themselves as Croats,eastern-Catholics as Serbs....every Catholic in Bosnia regards Croatia as his homeland....and they all have double citizenship.

Thats right, like me, im born here in Denmark, i have ALBANIAN parents (thank god), i work here, i go to school here, i LIVE here, BUT im not danish and WILL NEVER be, and danish will never consider me as a dane, and thats it, THE SAME WITH ZLATAN, he is and will ALWAYSE be Bosnian/croatian....!
