It will probably work that way, but I think that he can play with Trez also. Zlatan is very versatile.

DEFENCE! We can't just rely on Cannavaro! His fitness level was anything from good last season.

Or at least we could've gotten Gilardino or some width into the squad.

Not really, only Trez is his competiton.

Zlatan can play in both DP's and Trez's position thats what would make him very useful for us. In the swedish nt he playz paired up with Henke Larsson, so he could form a partnership with Trez. As both DP and Trez are injury prone, this versataility means so much for us. IMO Micco will play on the flanks, and Camo will leave.

You're right our defence will be better than last year's defence. Last years defence was our worst defensive record in 40 years though! We can't be reliant one defender, who (as I said before) isn't that fit anymore.

as he can play paired with another striker (like in swedish nt with Henke Larsson), he can play paired up with Trez, as well as with DP. This versataility makes him very useful for us, considering how injury prones Trez and DP are.

If he succeed, in the future he can be a leading player after the DP era.

We might be able to compete with Inter and Milan now that we have Cannavaro, but we might as well still finish third - only closer to Inter and Milan in points.
