Totti is one of the few World Class Italian players right now. If he ain't world class, no one is.

I think Zlatan is not as bad as people make him out to be. If I remember correctly, in these two years he got sent off the pitch just once (against Bayern) and he got a 3-match ban for elbowing a player without being seen by the ref (something which Shevchenko has done a lot of times but not always has been punished - so he's not world class cos of that either?).

And I never recall hearing about zlatan stirring problems out of the pitch: no fights, brawls, drugs, or anything. He might be a temperamental player but to invent that he's bad on and off the pitch just to find an excuse not to call him a world class player is ridiculous.

at the moment he is not world class as
he is too selfish(holds on to the ball and tries to dribble past players instead of passing to teamates in better positions)
his finishing is not great(can be worked on in training)
these are the two main things if he can sort these out then he will be world class but at the moment there is still room for improvement

how can he not be world class when he starts for one of the premier teams in the world and is the star of his natinal side. there's absolutely no doubt that he's world class. As far being great, he's not there just yet.

come on there were already people on the pitch,in saying that i was killing myself laughing. how can you say zlatan would not start a fight?? he is always one second away from starting a brawl,he will grow up and will become a world class player but he needs to work on many things including his finishing and his temperament as well as his teamwork
maybe it doesnt show in the video, but it was maradona that started with a ninja-kick ala cantona vs a bilbao player

zlatan may be a dirty player, but this is somethign different..

i just said it to ridicule azzuri7's claims that you have be a sugardoll on and off the pitch in order to be worldclas... and him supporting his argument with the 'perfect maradona'

When a player is world class, it doesn't mean he excels in everything. Take Trezeguet. He's definitely world class and I doubt anyone will dispute that, but his only quality is the finishing, otherwise he's mediocre in the control, dribbling, passing, etc...

That just proves that to be world class, you don't have to be great in everything, but be one of the best in particular area.

agreed.completely.
zlatans area is holding the ball up,setting up his partners and taking players on and beating them. so far this season he has not done any of these very well so there is room for improvement, agreed?????
again when he does these and starts to score more i will come on and rave about him

Exactly, there is a World Class forward, a World Class finisher, World Class midfielder, World Class playmaker, World Class defender, World Class winger and World Class goalkeeper.

You also forgot to mention that he takes the players away from Trezeguet or whoever is partnering him upfront. Even when he's on an off day, two players always go on him to take the ball away so that alone is a great thing for Trezeguet.
