So according to your definition Mardona was never a World-Class football Player ?
Maradona has always been Class....I never saw him Provoking Players and always in his Interviews he showed some Class not to forget the way he treated the players that were facing him. He's not a trouble-maker.

i think zlatan shows his class on the pitch all the time, his efficiency is yet to be improved, but what he does with the ball, combined with his vision is pure class imo. his behaviour of the pitch is not that important imo, therefore i think zlatan is already a world class player.

how do you reckon a troublemaker can't be worldclass? some of greatest players of all time were in fact troublemakers on the pitch. temperament is not such a bad thing, it drives a player more, sure when it gets out of hand it's bad, but temperamental players are one of the best players ever to be seen. just a few names come to mind; keane, stoichkov, romario even totti. all of those players were temperamental and trouble-makers. and all of them were world class.

It is ok and classy to take drugs and cheat ("hand of God incident") but not to have a bad temper. Odd definition.
hehe...C'mon anyone can hit a ball with his hand. It happens everyday in Football. and Just to tell you I'm not a fan of Maradona.

About Drugs and etc...I guess he already proved the people before that he was a WorldClass before taking drugs. No one can deny that.

To be World-Class football Player you have to be Class in and off the pitch.. Thats the first thing which Ibra lacks....

I admit he IS a talent but that doesn't mean he's already a worldclass...Henry,Eto'o,Sheva etc these strikers can be called World-Classes.

It's too early IMO to call him WorldClass....and Yes he need alot...he needs to Improve his passing skills, his Finishing, Selfishness etc....
spot on bro:thumb:

i think the point with zl;atan is his attitude to opponents and team mates, maradonna never let his ego get in the way of the team sure he was mental off the pitch but he treated teamates and opponents with respect,well.....except the english

maradona started a MAJOR FIGHT during his barcelona day (cant remeber against what team)

that is something zlatan would never do.. so in that retrospect maradona was WORSE than zlatan on the pitch

and furthemore being a bad sport has nothing to do with footballskills

you cannot say he is not a worldclass _PLAYER_ because he is a bad sport

Not true.
It's one of the things a player should have, Z. And If a player lacks Respect and can't be Class on the pitch and off. Then you can never call him a WorldClass player. No matter how good he is.

Francesco Totti for Example, He's phenomenal he's such a great Footballer that any-team is willing to pay alot just to get him. Still Lot of people(Experts) don't consider him as a WorldClass Player because of his attitude.

To be a WorldClass Player you should be an Example for Everybody, there' are alot of (Fans and youngesters watching you).

found a video of it, thats much worse than something zlatan has ever done
come on there were already people on the pitch,in saying that i was killing myself laughing. how can you say zlatan would not start a fight?? he is always one second away from starting a brawl,he will grow up and will become a world class player but he needs to work on many things including his finishing and his temperament as well as his teamwork
