Why so? He was voted player of the year 2004/2005 by the Juventus fans. Though his status is of course not as high after last season's disappointing performance, he is still recieving the support from the majority of Juventini in Italy. Well, I can't put much of the blame for Sweden's demise on Zlatan's shoulders. Sure, their finishing was poor. But their defense was horrible and their midfield gave little if any service. This is a Sweden squad that will need to do some serious soul searching over how much they underachieved in Germany.
