Zlatan won Serie A best foreign player of the year? Allright, Thats a great accomplishment for a 23 year old.

He devoloped allot in Juve, its IMO mostly because having such world-class players around him all the time. Lets hope he does even better this year and keeps devoloping his game.

Ibrahimovic Respects Del Piero
9/20/2005 7:34:00 AM
The Juventus forward paid tribute to his captain during an award ceremony.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the best foreign player of the year in Serie A at an award ceremony, Eurochampion, held in Udine, during which he was asked to comment about team mate and captain Alessandro Del Piero.

“He’s a great professional, a great captain and a great player. He will be very important for our season.”
Ibrahimovic believes it is too early to place Juventus as the favourites for the Scudetto, despite winning the first three matches of the season.

“It’s really too early. However we are a great team and want to continue this way.”

After winning the Serie A best foreign player of the year, the Swedish forward’s next objective is the Golden Ball. However he reckons that it will not be this year.

“I see two or three other players for that award,” concluded the former Ajax player
Very informative actually, what did we expect him to say???

“He’s NOT a great professional, and he DON'T DESERVE THE captain armband since he is a SHITY player. certinaly THE UNEEDED LUXURY for our season.”

You can always turn something good and positive into something suspicious and negative.
Congrats mate...

Man I'm not trying to doubt what Zlatan have said or takin it in a negative manner, but we both know that this is the least to say about DP...
I will comment this only once more.
In my book it is:
1: Juve
2: The players

DP is a truly great captain and player.
But We have to stop assuming that there is a conflict between him and Zlatan.

Ps. I’ve read a lot of great remarks Zlatan have said about DP. Have you read any that DP said about Zlatan?
If there is one I would be grateful to se it.

I'm too lazy to search the net for it, but I remmber that he gave him a warm welcome when he joins Juve last summer...

And who said that there is a conflict between Zlatan and DP??? some childish arguments in this forum give that impression I guess :D

The one has the heart of the crouds,
the other has the heart of his coach and claim the croud too,
we know how this battle ends but we dont know when...
Its not even a battle, The juventini fans has always hated change, ALWAYS!

The moment Del Piero retires Zlatan will slowly become the new symbol.

Right now we have a problem with Ibra.
I can’t understand why Capello doesn’t help him more to relax on the pitch and bring forward the fun in game for him. Maybe he has other ideas ore maybe he’s just a bad in psychology.

There is only 3 things he should be thinking about right now.

1: To enjoy the game. Have fun and work with the team. Not against it.
2: Paste up when he gets the ball.
3: Work much harder without ball. This is the most important thing. Open up space for the others. Get free space for his own and destroy the positional game for the defenders.

Right now he does not accomplish any of the above.
