Sissoko Hoping To Sign For Juventus Today

Liverpool midfielder Mohammed Sissoko is hoping that his much-vaunted transfer to Juventus can be signed and sealed today...

According to the latest reports from Italy and England, Liverpool and Juventus have agreed on the transfer of Sissoko to Italy.

All that is left now is for the player to sign the deal. According to Sissoko, this could happen today.

"I had a very good discussion with Juventus, therefore we shall see what happens in the next two days," the former Valencia player explained.

"Maybe I could even sign my contract with the Bianconeri on Friday," he declared enthusiastically to BBC Sport.

Sissoko then sent an appreciation message to his current team and fans.

"Liverpool is a great club. I adore the fans, the stadium, everything. I'm just sorry for my position inside the squad, but this is football."

:agree: Lippi played Jugovic with Zidane, and we are over-running other teams at midfield in Europe
But Vladimir had more quality (technic, dribling, passing) than SHITsooko will ever have...You can't compare them...

In difesa promosso Mellberg dell'Aston Villa.

Marco Tardelli is warning Juve: "Sissoko does not do the difference"...
In interview for Calciomercato.com he gave the view on the Juve mercato policy: "Sissoko is a good gambler, but he is not the one that changes an out come of the squad. The Juventus needs someone that could do a substantial shock"...Tardelli is dreaming of Diego of Werder Bremen, "Diego is wery good. I also would be pleased if I saw Van der Vaart, but if Diego arrives even better"...

In defence he "touches" Mellberg of the Aston Villa. "The Juve need a station in defence and Mellberg would be good for that task. The defence of Juve depends from Buffon, if Gigi is well (now back problems editor's note) then there is no problems. Molinaro and Chiellini did pretty well, to bad for the injurys. Andrade was unlucky and remains an uncertainty".

The summer market of bianconero was almost disastrous (Tiago, Almiron and in part Criscito all floped). "Criscito didn't do so bad, also because he was employed outside from its natural role. Tiago and Almiron did badly. My counsel? Thay bougth two-three gamblers that didn't not do the difference. With the same figure I would have bought an important gambler, in a position that he can change the squad and bring something to it".

Now that is what we need on our board + Bettega...PLSSS listen to HIM, Secco and Co....

Yes but Jugovic was everything but a defensive midfielder. He was a technical player and hard worker who couldn't stop running. When we won the CL Jugovic was our best midfielder and our most creative player. (Zidane wasn't with Juve back in 95/96)
If you compare him with someone from our team then he is Camoranesi playing more centrally.
Sissoko can be compared with Deschamps from that team, certainly not with Jugovic.

That is true, but DD had more skills than Shitsooko, better judgement on the pitch, better view of the situation, good passer...

Sissoko's agent in Turin to complete Juve move

Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has claimed he is on the verge of completing a move to Juventus.

Sissoko is currently in Ghana on African Nations Cup duty with Mali and had been linked with a move to the Serie A club since the transfer window opened.

He had previously played under current Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri at Valencia and despite interest from his former club he has his heart set on a move to the Bianconeri.

"I have very good contact with Juve and my agent is in Turin to have negotiations," Sissoko told Sky Sports News.

"Yes in the next two days I think the transfer is open.

"It is a very big club and I like this team. For the future they can do very good things, that is why I want to join Juventus."

Sissoko also said he did not have a problem with Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez and was only leaving Anfield because he was frustrated with his lack of first-team action.

"I think it was not a very big problem [at Liverpool]," added Sissoko.

"I am 23 years old, I am still young so I want to play a lot of games and that is why I leave Liverpool."

The first thing our players should do to Sissoko on the field is ask him for 100 push ups and run the field for like 30min and make apologize in a press conf to Juventus fans for what he said about Liverpool being bigger club than us.

most of us could tell you the same thing....its not that Tardelli knows his football, its that BLANK, SUCKO, RUINeri, and company dont know theirs :faq2:
Ranieri is definitely the brightest of the bunch... but being the man with one eye in the land of the blind doesn't say much.

Who knows, maybe he really can turn Sissoko into a Vieira/Makelele type.
