To set things straight, i am against Momo coming to Juve but not because he isn't good because he's class at what he do, today he was all over and was one of the reasons why Nigeria couldn't score along with Diarra, but thing is i don't think we need that kind of player as much as someone creative. Thats totally different than saying he suck because as i said he is an amazing destroyer.

Just like your posts to this forum...
i would'nt call Vinman useless, infact he makes alot of sense. May be he has a sharp point of view but hello any one who has to live with what we have at the moment will be exactly the same and yes raniri plays alot of roles in our current situation along with the board. as for momo sissoko to be honest he will be useless to juventus cos thats not the player we lack. we slready have holding midfielders who woud aid our defense but would offer zero contribution to our offense.

hense the money we invest in him should've went to getting defenders instead of the glass made andrade, and a wing back instead of molinaro since we wont be able to get vdv this january.

he isnt a bad player i ve watched his game tonight and i thought he teamed up well with diara, but he does exactly what zanneti and nocrino do. i grant u he is better than nocrino considering his experience but there is nothing more he can do that zanneti cant.

Yeah. In the CL we need someone else in midfield, as Capello proved that 2 DM's don't work well. Someone less defensive.

true, it has failed tremdously and it will always fail in cl. i think the best way to play it is if one of them actually goes up and is offensively superior than the other dm who will cover for his place during offense runs. in football manager terms its having a dm next to an mc on the same line but when the team attacks he moves ofrward to go up with the attackers and during defense he holds back with the other dm. but when u have two dms who play the same role then u tend to build up yr attacks using yr wings which makes it easy for the other team to break down simply by marking both wings.

Which is what i basically said in my first post here, we don't need Momo but that does not mean he is a useless player. He is one of the best young holding midfielders but we don't need him which is a completely different issue than salting him and saying he is useless.

Another question though, whats our current situation? We are 3rd in the table while we only need to finish 4th. We just drew away with Inter in Coppa Italia quarter finals with half a team missing and have a very good chance to advance to the next round and even win the coppa which is not even something that was in our plan. Thats our situation at the moment.

We had poor performances after the winter break? yeah sure but as a long time fan i am telling you thats not Ranieri's fault as much as it's a Juventus tradition. Capello, Lippi always had poor starts in January. But we played an amazing half a season and made an excellent start. I don't see any reason for us to complain and start moaning not to mention transforming every thread into a Ranieri bashing contest, this stuff is worthy of other fans not Juventus.

Maybe the compromised Tiago deal will ruin this transfer as well,
our owners dont want to finance any winter transfers,
if Secco fails to find another club for Tiago soon, Sissoko might not join us after all...

i think its very unlikely cronios aftr all tiago knows there is no place for him in ranieri's books so i doubt asny player would sacrifice his career to be benched.

Totally agreed. Someone who isn't defensive like Tiago is needed. I'm not saying he is the one to play there, but it is a possibility that he could make a miraculous recovery.

Rafa releases Sissoko to Juve
Friday 25 January, 2008

Rafa Benitez and Mohamed Sissoko have confirmed a move to Juventus could be completed over the weekend.

Liverpool midfielder Sissoko has made it abundantly clear for some time that he wants to leave the Premiership side and reunite with his former Valencia Coach Claudio Ranieri.

"I have very good contact with Juve and my agent is in Turin to have negotiations," Sissoko told Sky Sports News.

Now Liverpool boss Benitez has also noted that a deal is in the offing for the 23-year-old, as money from this sale would be poured back into making Javier Mascherano a permanent buy.

"It could help," Benitez told Liverpool's official website.

"We don't have too much news but we are working with Sissoko and I think we are close to a final solution which will be good for him and the club.

"I have confidence Mascherano will stay with us. I don't know the exact position now but I talked to the player yesterday and he wants to stay.

"I have had some contact with the owners. We were talking before about Sissoko and Mascherano. We are working and being pro-active."

Juve cleared a place for Sissoko – who is currently with Mali at the African Cup of Nations – this week by handing Sergio Almiron to Monaco.

Tiago Mendes is also expected to leave Turin during the transfer window in a £9m move to Tottenham.

its true we r in 3 place but it would be exteremly hard to maintain that position if we play with no proper defenders. apart from leogratalie there is no one to step in for andrade or chellini's place since we loaned out crisitico.

as for the coppa italia its true we managed to draw against inter but it was a 10 man inter and with out ibrahimovic int here starting line up.

and yes its true its part of juve's tradition to start slow but thats when u have a complete team, right now juventus does'nt have a complete team.

the attack on raniri is not just for the sake of it, its cos of the way he manages and insists n doing the same mistakes each and every match. his subs are waaaaaaaaay to late, not to mention most of the time they r meaningless. when a manager goes out and say players like vdv or hunter are not needed then there is def sth wrong specially when al yr problems lay in yr creativity. juventus at least till this half of the season had no problems with defending the midfield yet at the back if it was'nt for buffon ranirie would've been sacked alooooooooong time ago. if it was'nt for last minute goals or super preformances by nedved or del piero he would've been shown the door.
