Sissoko Hoping To Sign For Juventus Today

Liverpool midfielder Mohammed Sissoko is hoping that his much-vaunted transfer to Juventus can be signed and sealed today...

According to the latest reports from Italy and England, Liverpool and Juventus have agreed on the transfer of Sissoko to Italy.

Yes but Jugovic was everything but a defensive midfielder. He was a technical player and hard worker who couldn't stop running. When we won the CL Jugovic was our best midfielder and our most creative player. (Zidane wasn't with Juve back in 95/96)
If you compare him with someone from our team then he is Camoranesi playing more centrally.
Sissoko can be compared with Deschamps from that team, certainly not with Jugovic.

Sissoko's agent in Turin to complete Juve move



Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has claimed he is on the verge of completing a move to Juventus.

Sissoko is currently in Ghana on African Nations Cup duty with Mali and had been linked with a move to the Serie A club since the transfer window opened.

He had previously played under current Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri at Valencia and despite interest from his former club he has his heart set on a move to the Bianconeri.

"I have very good contact with Juve and my agent is in Turin to have negotiations," Sissoko told Sky Sports News.

"Yes in the next two days I think the transfer is open.

"It is a very big club and I like this team. For the future they can do very good things, that is why I want to join Juventus."

Sissoko also said he did not have a problem with Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez and was only leaving Anfield because he was frustrated with his lack of first-team action.

"I think it was not a very big problem [at Liverpool]," added Sissoko.

"I am 23 years old, I am still young so I want to play a lot of games and that is why I leave Liverpool."
