Momo is a great talent but he is still very raw. I was a huge fan of his last year (Liverpool is the only EPL team I bother to follow) and his defensive game is certainly world class. He's one of those players that seems like he's at two places at once on the pitch and he's so aggressive (in a good way) when it comes to breaking up plays.
I think he'd be perfect for Juve, but I think he does need a few more years to grow into a complete player. Unfortunately, for all his defensive upside and energy, he is very impatient and unskilled on the ball. Although I think his injuries and lack of playtime this year are partly to blame, he's had this annoying habit (this season at least) of winning a ball in the midfield and then just giving the ball right back with a poorly judged and rushed pass up the field.
I know Rafa has been trying hard to get him to work on his technique and if he comes here, Ranieri will have to do the same. But boy, once he gets his skills and judgment right when he has the ball, he will truly be one of the elite defensive players in the sport. So I do hope Juve sign him and he continues to improve.
(Also want to say hi to everyone here. I'm a Juve fan since childhood -my father was a huge fan of Polish and Juve hero Zibi Boniek and got me hooked- and have been reading posts here for a month or so, but it's my first post here. I hope I can contribute to this great online Juve community. Cheers
