My thoughts on the capture (if he passes the medical, that is)
I don't think i have ever seen him play, maybe with the NT but without really noticing him. I can only say he's a much cheaper option than Milito which has turned into a hype the last few weeks and usually hypes turn out to be flops. So I am fine with the deal. I am happy actually.
Another thing I think it's a smart thing to buy a Portuguese defender when you have a Portuguese central midfielder, especially when both players are new to the team. This helps both adaptation and communication while playing.
And last but not least, it's a relief we got a central defender. I also think we need another one.
