He's 29
Again my opinion as a Depor fan. He is good, not the kind of man that makes passes nor a man that scores goals. He is solid and prefers to send the ball out instead of been taking risks. For that reason yuo won't see him committing silly mistakes. He's the current captian of Portugal and as far as I know, the preffered man of Scolari.

I read that you were chasing Milito, he is also good, but it's insane to pay 20 million for him, when you can sign this guy for the half. OK, he is older, but I believe that Andrade still have 4 or 5 years of good football.
Good to hear. I prefer defenders that don't play football because, as you, they are less likely to make mistakes.

Hmmm, so how much did we sign Andrade for? Not so sure about this purchase though, didn't hear much of it in the media and I'm beginning to think management is starting to makes moves like the 'old triad'

Well Secco was working under Moggi before the whole circus happened last year.

what exactly do the medical tests check for?
To see if the player has any injury that would prevent him for playing. You don't want to sign a player only to have him be injured for 6 months. Also to check for other things like Drug use.

they check for the players fitness, if he's capable of doing the job. it's really standard procedure, and I doubt anyone fails these kinds of tests. they just want to make sure you don't have any disabilities that will prevent you from being a professional athlete.

it's worth taking note that milito failed on at real madrid when they tried to sign him years ago. they discovered a knee injury and decided not to sign the player after everything "financial" was already agreed. not surprised to see real madrid not knowing what they're doing :disagree:

this is interesting information. what exactly was secco doing under the triad's regime? so i take it he's just applying what he's learned over the years?

I remember Andrade acting a wall couple years ago in some CL-game. I rated him really highly then. Ever since it seems he's been injured forever, don't know where to put him today. Anyway, I'm happy 'bout the signing.
