Official: Grygera to Juve (23 Viewers)

Zdenek Grygera was reportedly in Turin on Wednesday undergoing medical examinations at Juventus.

The Czech defender is to join Juventus from Ajax in the summer after deciding not to extend his deal with the Dutch club.

Grygera will join the Bianconeri as a free agent when his contract at the Amsterdam Arena expires at the end of the current campaign.

The 26-year-old has not yet signed his contract with Juventus, but is expected to move to the Stadio delle Alpi on a five-year deal worth around €1.5million (£1million) a season.

Grygera's international team-mate Pavel Nedved is thought to have played a major part in persuading the stopper to snub other clubs and move to Juventus.
