I want Metzelder to join us, I've always been a fan of him. Yeah, Juve have offered him 2.5 million euros but he needs 2.5 million pounds per season.

Don't know how reliable this site is but it would be great to get Metzelfder and one ore two of those midfielders.

I have always thought Ledesma had lots of potential and talent, as well as the ability to distribute the ball efficiently. Depending on how well he has played thus far, I'm not sure Lazio would let him go just yet for a reasonable price.

Screw Frings... don't want to see him in a Juventus shirt.

Grygera To Become Juve Player From Next Week - Agent The Czech defender could join the Bianconeri before June, as the Italian club is working to convince Ajax to let their player go earlier than originally planned.

Zdenek Grygera could be wearing the Juventus shirt before expected, as the Bianconeri's directors are currently in Holland trying to convince the Dutch club to let him go before June.

Grygera has been signed by Italy's Old Lady on a free transfer and would arrive in Italy in summer, however according to the player's agent, Juventus are trying to bring the player to the peninsula during this current transfer window so he can get acclimated to the side and the new country ahead of next season which will probably see the return of Italy’s most popular club to the topflight.

The Czech defender is a big friend of Pavel Nedved and is set to sign a four-year deal and become an important element of the Bianconeri in their quest to return to the top of Serie A and European football in the coming years.

Juventus choose to wait for Ajax's Grygera
tribalfooball.com - January 30, 2007

Juventus have decided against meeting Ajax's £500,000 asking price for Ajax defender Zdenek Grygera.

The Czech Republic international has already committed himself to a pre-contract with Juve, which had explored the possibility of signing the player this month.

But Ajax's asking price was deemed too rich and instead Grygera will visit Juve's front office next week, along with agent David Nehoda, to sign his contract ahead of moving to Turin in June on a Bosman.

Meanwhile, Juve have sent Uruguayan midfielder Tomas Guzman on-loan to fellow Serie B club Spezia for the rest of this season.

----

I'm confused. I read Juve were offering 700,000 to get him immediately but that Ajax were demanding much more. Here it says that Juve aren't willing to 500,000 for him

i wouldnt pay too much attention to this article because Guzman is Paraguayan not Uruguayan! So probably the rest is a mistake as well. I thought Ajax were asking for 1.7million
