You know, I just thought about it for a sec and I really really don't think that our board are that stupid!!

Really!... Anyone with half a footballing brain can see that Poulsen is not what we need!!

So surely our borad can see it, they CAN'T be that stupid surely!!

if the board will but a playmaker the yes. . maybe we will need poulsen
ando also we can use him on a 4-3-3
or even on a 4-3-1-2

i dont think that we will have a playmaker but i really belive on a 4-3-3...jusy look at the powe we have in the attack line

i also read on espn that pulsen really wants to come to juve. . .that we will buy the rest of his contract to come here...if he really want to play here then wellcome ..i will support him and the team

Strange that Juventus have this weird coincidence of buying players that will make Italy disappointed/angry in competitions

1st is Trezeguet
2nd is Zlatan
Now Poulsen, if official

Is Poulsen playing style related by any means to that bald Danish fucker who played for RM a couple of years ago? (his name was Gravesen or somthing)
No. Thank god.. Gravesern was never a DM although RM bought him for that position ( stupid fucks ) He failed ofcourse and ended up in Celtic were became the best paid player in the league and now he's not even in their first team. He did do well in Everton and in the national team before that but how he ended up in RM is beyond me. He must have had a very good agent. I actually think Poulsen have the same... ( theme from the twilight zone ) :shifty:

i haven't seen poulsen play much but surely the guy is creative and attacking to some degree. He's a pro he should know how to pass forward.

we do have Giovinco who excels in the position behind the strikers and with defensive players like Momo and Poulsen in the team we could easily play 433 with giovinco as trequartista and maby Amauri and Trez ahead of him.

Then when Del Piero plays we could go with 442

that would be nice. . .but i think that i am the only member that want seba to take a starting role at juve. . .and i think that thats what ranieri is trying to do with our team thats why poulsen will arrive
anyway forza seba ;) :flag3:

Ranieri will no doubt give Giovinco his chance and he will give him his fair share of games. IF he impresses there is no reason why he can't be a starter. He is old enough and if he can play so magnificent with the under21 italy team he can do it here. Plus seeing how we are not going to be able to rely on Nedved in the future Giovinco will be given his chance. 433 would suit him better than 442 with him on the left so I think we will see a lot of changes in tactics and formations from game to game.

I have been thinking about all of this as well. I truly think, and hope we will get one more midfielder (after Poulsen), and there is an outside chance we'll even get one more defender (even if its just a loan for Ivanovic...or anyone really). That being said, the management is doing EXACTLY what they should be one year removed from coming back to Seria A: creating a squad worthy of a challenge.
Think about it, for the first time since relegation, we have both money, and a goal (CL). We need depth across the board. Poulsen will no way be asked to play as a cornerstone of midfield, but come February, after countless matches in League, Cup, CL, and for most - the National Team friendlies, he will have to eat up minutes.
He's the perfect solution for a game against the Samptdorias, and the Napolis of the world. He'll do great doing what he's asked - back up.

This team cannot afford to throw money at absolute elite players yet. It will next year, but first we have to build a DEEP solid base for the team, and Poulsen fits that. I know its infuriating, but there will always be Diegos and VDVs next year. They are just the flavor du jour. So give the board time to REBUILD. I know "THIS IS JUVE," but this is Juve after a massive relegation hit... These players will do just fine for now, might even challenge for scudetto, and go deep into all competitions. Winning all of them at the same time comes next.

FORZA JUVE.:flag3:

To be honest I hate this transfer with all my being but if we r talking Poulsen Sissoko in midfield, Serie A will be a top 2 finish because the Juve of 3 years ago and the currnet Inter seem to show u need to be a grindy type team to bully the smaller teams and not lose more than 3 or so games over the season

CL is another story though. Quarterfinals at best

According to Danish Media his advicer says its a done deal. He'll sign on monday the latest. This guy has denied the transfer all along so I think its 99% sure now.

Bye bye Xabi... God dammit

They say he is joined and plays for us, then at the end of the "moving abroad" section it says:

"On 11, June, 2008, it was announced by Italian and Spanish press the acquistation of Poulsen by Juventus. It is not official yet, but it looks close."

It looks close lads.
