maby we will in fact get xabi as well. I think Almiron and Tiago are defn on their way out.

Well we will have 4 DM I think this season maybe 5 if Xabi comes. Maby Ranieri Just wants to use mad rotation or something? But Poulsen would make his way into a lot of teams as their starting DM so his quality in his position (effectiveness) can not be denied ... so in that sense he is good.

If Xabi comes i'd might see some logic but as you say Tiago would have to go and then we'd have Xabi and Zanetti who can pass and momo, poulsen and marchisio as destroyers ( I haven't seen marchisio play much so Im not sure about his role ) this would be okay. But I'd rather save the money and just bring in Xabi and give marchisio a shot at it. Camo and nedved can also cover in the middle if needed so I think its a wrong strategy to buy him. This and I also rate Momo a better player than Poulsen and Zanetti just as good as Poulsen so I just dont get it..

Marchisio is not a destroyer. He is a CM with very good accuracy.

You don't think he is good?

I watced him play since his start in FC copenhagen where he was box to box player. He did very well and even scored some goals. He went to Schalke were he had problems getting on the team and spend almost a entire season playing RB. He got his place back and became a good destroyer there and on the national team and then moved to Sevilla where he has done very well. So yes I do like him I guess I just dont think we need him right now because i dont want a midfield with two destroyers and I think Momo is better and Zanetti is just as good as him. I would buy Xabi now because we need that type of player right now and then waited to next year and signed Poulsen on a free transfer as a replacement for Zanetti who would be near his end by then. Then marchisio would also have gotten his shot in the first team and we would seen his potential.

If he comes I will ofcourse support him :bigscarf:
