Sure Chimenti isn't the best goalkepper these days, but you don't have to insult him and call him names, you nerds. He's a good person, as it seems.

i think chimenti and abbiati are responsible for our two deateas in seria and ucl i think milan are just cheats first they injure our goalkeeper and then send abbiati who makes basic goalkeeping errors

This thread is a pathetic!! Putting the blame on Chimenti is just unfair and downright stupid. Wake UP guys, the whole team did not play the way they were supposed to. So get off the back of Chimenti, and start asking why the abysmal performance from all 11 not only 1!!

agreed.we all expected Chimenti to made such mistakes(as he did before too).what we saw last night was his level of goalkeeping at this age.so it's just unfair to blame him.this is actually our bad luck that we missed Buffon.but I blame Capello as well.IMO he should have played Bonnefoi.even if he made the same mistakes,I think that was more acceptable.he is only 22 and Chimenti is 35 afterall.

but the monkey was the once who outbalanced the game in thre first place,
he was the worst player on the pitch and his tragic mistakes greatly affected the result,
luck had its fair merit to this too,
but we souldnt have been so soft and allow lake so much space,
Cap didnt prepared mentaly and tacticaly he as he sould...

Chimenti apologises to Juve Sunday 30 October, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Antonio Chimenti has apologised for his error in the defeat to Milan, while Carlo Ancelotti, Emerson and Kaka also gave their verdict on the San Siro clash.

“Andrea Pirlo’s goal went in because of my mistake, even if the ball took a strange swerve as it came round the wall,” conceded the Juventus goalkeeper after last night’s 3-1 defeat. “Milan punished us in the first half, but we have the right potential to get out of this situation.”

Chimenti is Juve’s third choice goalkeeper and started due to Gianluigi Buffon’s shoulder injury and a bout of tonsillitis for Christian Abbiati.

“The Rossoneri were lucky because they scored against the run of play,” explained his team-mate Emerson. “We tried to get back into the swing of things, but their second goal came almost immediately and it’s not easy to recover against such a strong side.”

This result has closed the gap at the top of the table to just two points and the Scudetto race has been blown wide open.

“Milan were better than Juventus on the night, it really is as simple as that,” said Kaka, who netted the second goal on Saturday evening. “It was a great feeling on a wonderful night for the club. We always maintained the same approach, both on the field and off it.”

Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the title is within their grasp after notching up seven consecutive Serie A victories.

“Now we are right back in the Scudetto race and we were in better condition than Juve going into this game,” assured the Coach. “To take the lead so early was helpful, but the difference was made by our aggressive temperament.”

The Bianconeri had won all nine of its opening ties, but Ancelotti found the tactical key to unpick that lock.

“Gennaro Gattuso was extraordinary, as was Alberto Gilardino and Pippo Inzaghi. The defenders marked Zlatan Ibrahimovic tightly and that is how you must face Juventus.”

Well you are mistaken, in the first 15 minutes befoer Milan scored their goal, Gattuso managed to hit the post and Inzaghi had a shot on Chimenti. TWO chances to score where our super über star Zlatan Ibrahimozabrivic wanted to dribble Nesta, Maldini, Stam and then Nesta again.
We did play well before conceeding the first goal, with a chance from ibra who missed the ball, and we were playing the ball around. Milan had chances but came from counterattacks where Pirlo just bypassed our World Class midfield and looked for Gila Inzaghi or Seedorf who played wide right.

Gattuso's shot was never going to count, the guy played a hard game and made some bad tackles IMO.

And yes many of our players played like a chicken. :D They even flew like one tooo.

And then we started to push up, only to be punished by a quick second goal.
It was a hard mental burden to conceed quick goals like that. We just didn't get lucky and then the situation was too hard for us to get back in. This ofcourse aside from the terrible Zlatan and off form Nedved.

I really didn't see us playing that bad, only the two players above played poorly, the others had an ok game. And Milan with their Direct long balls (quality), threatened us alot on the counters.

Oh and I forgot to mention Chimenti also who had a poor-poor game. Without the first Goal Milan wouldn't have been so Comfortable mentaly. then they just played us, and after the second goal, it was clearly going to be difficult to get back as Milan would play freely withot burden or pressure. After the third goal, I thought we really needed a miracle to get back in the game.
