Man, Canna gone. And now Zambrotta. Almost crying. I was hoping for a loan deal for him. Why does this have to happen? Let's just hope Camo and Trez decide they want to stay on. We need them.

Camo and Trez should stay in addition to the three staying. And I think we'll have a decent Serie A level team in two years time.

Guys it's not official. Now it is said that Barcelona had reached an agreement about Thuram, but Zambrotta is having second thoughts with Milan and Real in the game again.
If i must chose between the 3 clubs i chose Barcelona. I hope it's not gonna be Milan
And final decission will be made on Monday !!!

Care to explain why, Dr.Phil?
Thuram is a piece of unloyal sh*t. no need to explain. besides he's old and has no future in the game. zebina is just pure cr*p, he's never played a decent match for juve. don't know why we bought him but i know we need to sell him (who's gonna buy him? no one i guess) i don't think we need camo anymore. we've got marchionni and now finally olivera can get a real chance. and then vieira, i've never really liked him. he had a good start at juve but hasn't really been as good as many hoped. besides i think we need a more offensive midfield and i'm glad to see that emerson is gone. maybe now that crapello is gone we can stop using defenders on the midfield.

YESSSSSSS good riddance Thuram, you overrated mercenary. The man could not even control his arms as he pushed his way out of the door to this club.

Good luck and thank you to Gianluca Zambrotta, the player who should have been wearing that captain's armband ahead of that joke Thuram.
How is he an overrated mercenary? How is he different than Zambrotta?

He rarely played badly durring his time at Juve (I can recall the one vs. Roma last season). Overall, I think he's been fantastic since he joined in 2001. Remember that he was also fielded as RB early on.

I think it's right that Thuram had the armband before Zambrotta. Thuram is more vocal (and has a felt presence) on the field than Zambrotta.

I think that we have a good chance here to rebuild the squad. As was once pointed out early in the last season, the squad was getting old...

Arsenal still in Thuram race Thursday 20 July, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lilian Thuram’s agent has denied reports that his client’s move to Barcelona is a formality, insisting that he may still sign for Arsenal.

“So much has been written but Thuram is in Africa and hasn’t been in touch,” Oscar Damiani said in an interview for the AffariItaliani website.

“Lilian wants to play in England but Barcelona are a big club and if they can agree a deal with him then that could happen. It’s something that hasn’t been discussed yet.”

Recent reports from the Spanish Press suggested that Thuram was set to sign for Barcelona within the next week, along with Gianluca Zambrotta.

However, the player’s representative was keen to stress that a move to the Premiership was far from out of the question.

The only option that Thuram has rejected is playing Serie B football with the Bianconeri.

“Arsenal are an option, it’s 50-50 between them and Barcelona,” Damiani stressed. “It’s not that Lilian is running out on Juve, it’s a mutual decision.”

Thuram has spent the last 10 years of his career in Italy – five at Parma and five at Juve – winning four Scudetti and being named one of the 125 greatest living footballers by Pele in 2004.

Several Milan, Juventus, Fiorentina and Lazio players are looking to find new clubs after the Calciopoli verdict and it seems that Spain rather than England is their preferred destination.

I'm gutted to see cannavaro and zambrotta go, not so bothered about thuram and certainly not fussed about emerson. I hope vieira, trez, and ibrahimovic go next

It feels bad to loose these kind of players, I'm more attached to Zambo when it comes to Juve than Canna....I was hoping to see him taking the Captain arm-band after Alex in the future. too bad.
