Can you really be dumb enough to realise you won't finish top & that if Ukraine turn up might not even qualify......

So the communist gave Italy the win today?
So? The mans political views mean what exactly?

and was too good to sing the national anthem....
And someone who has a Che Guevara t-shirt in their avatar is gonna pass judgement on communism? The irony in this thread is unreal.....

I don't give a toss about anyone's political view, add to that the Italian National team's players. However, Vinman hates Lucarelli to the bones just because he's a commie and he's a die hard Azzurri fan, I was wondering how he took the victory that a commie brought. He managed to find something to criticize Lucarelli, by not singing the national anthem. On the other hand Camoranesi not singing the national anthem is fine.

A good display by Sheva and co against France is all we need now... Sheva in his day can push France to concentrate more on SA 2010. :weee:

Rosina's Azzurri ambition

Alessandro Rosina is eager to ensure his Azzurri debut does not remain a one-off. "This is just the start for me."

The Torino starlet was one of five debutants in last night’s 2-0 friendly victory over South Africa.

“It was a good game, but in the first half I particularly struggled to find space in a tight South African midfield.

"When Alberto Gilardino came on, he created a hole between the lines that I could exploit,” explained Rosinaldo.

“We played some good football considering it was our first game together.

"Some of us were back from the Under-21 squad, so we weren’t complete strangers, but it was impressive in the circumstances.”

Rosina was among several to have graduated from the Azzurrini, such as Riccardo Montolivo, Pasquale Foggia, Antonio Nocerino and Gilardino.

“The Coach complimented everyone for the performance. This is a prestigious moment for me, but it has to be a starting point rather than an achievement and I must build on it with my football for Torino.”

I wonder if Vinman knows Italy was always designed to be a communist or at least socialist republic.

Would be good for Scotland.

Would be good for Domenech haters.

Good for other major nations who have one less serious competitor in the competition.
It will simply be a loss to football not seeing(Henry,Ribery,Trezy,Viera,Malouda & co) in the Euro.
For example as much as I hate the English team,I want them to qualify, these big guns is what makes the Euro great to watch.

But of course it will be good for any Scottish fan,but now after the Georgia match, they have to beat GIGI to qualify.
