Georgia are really weak and they have kids playing. Why do they choke under pressure?
Dunno. It is something deep in the nations mindset. Even our great teams, for instance in '78, end up with 'glorious failure'. They lost to Peru and failed to beat another shit team, only to then beat Holland and still fail to qualify.
Nowadays it is as much our playing style as much as the favourites tag. We are far more comfortable playing teams who will come and attack us so we can counter attack. Only teams who are better than us tend to do this.
I'm not convinced that this was necessarily a case of choking with Scotland tonight. I think that the players believed the media hype about how great they are and how the hard work was done by beating Ukraine. This led to them underestimating Georgia and thinking they just had to turn up to win.
