I kind of have a soft spot for Liverpool to be honest. And Leeds United; Napoli, Parma, Lazio, Bayer Leverkusen, Barcelona, and I suppose I've always liked Villareal too. But I don't like Man United, or even Chelsea for that matter.

Roma draw up wish list
With Thomas Di Benedetto's takeover close to completion, Roma are drawing up a wish list of players for next season.

Di Benedetto arrived in Rome on Monday afternoon and was mobbed by journalists eager to discover his plans for the club.

The American told La Gazzetta dello Sport that he wants Roma to finish in the top three places in Serie A every season.

Di Benedetto has been in contact with England general manager Franco Baldini who has recommended Walter Sabatini as a director of sport.

Sabatini recently oversaw Palermo's transfer policy bringing the likes of Javier Pastore, Josip Ilicic and Abel Hernandez to Serie A.

However, it's said that Sabatini already has an agreement with Sampdoria ahead of next season.

Nevertheless, speculation is mounting that Roma will launch bids for Javier Mascherano, Gabi Milito, Federico Balzaretti, Diego Lugano and Gigi Buffon

That only means our once great Juventus is one step closer to be a midtable club. There was already huge gap between us and milano teams. Now there are 3 teams have proper owners who invest for their clubs.

Obviously not  I know that 99% of transfer rumours lead to nothing, that Roma have been linked to pretty much every player who might or might not be available, that Buffon gets linked away every season to far better clubs than Roma and always remains, and that we don't know the amounts of money that they even have to spend.

I also find it interesting how this guy is able to have a hand in both Liverpool and Roma.

Damn, they want the same Balzaretti that we ditched for great Molinaro, that shows Secco's brilliance...
