Football has of course been about money for decades now, but the brazenness of the Saudis is hard to stomach.
And the numbers... In the past I didn't mind football players earning a lot of money, even if their wages were obscene. But at this point we're approaching the kind of budget that could be spent on meaningful human progress. We could send people to Mars for that sort of money. And then look at Saudi Arabia's location. It shares borders with Jemen and Iraq. Syria is very close as well. And Saudi Arabia does fuck all to help the millions of people in distress in those countries.
We all need to realise this: when someone is extremely wealthy, others have suffered for that wealth. Sadio Mane can talk a lot of shit about not buying expensive cell phones, but the dude's a massive cunt for taking oil money.

Chelsea and psg are just openly doing some fraud and no one cares. Without Saudi clubs gettin their dead wood of the books for millions of profit these two clubs would have been done. But juve sells a 21 year old for 10 instead of 3 mil (Transfermarkt.de valuation) and the whole management has to resign, get a heavy fine and -10 points and are execluded from European football lol
