Lol its like they're buying anyone and everyone they can without understanding how many players they need and where. Its going to be months of a Saudi league looking like a charity match, with 0 structure and tactics, mixed with a sprinkling of Saudi player ineptitude on the pitch.

Haters gonna hate.

We are only at the beginning. Looks like the alternative to the Super League will arrive, and additional quality/talented players will join, not just any ordinary players.

Gerrard's residence is just a short 10 minutes drive from my place, lol.

Again, the West will not watch the KSA League and we will not care about the Asian Champions League.

You will fail just like China, my man.

coaches will speak english, it's all right

best part is no one will watch that shit, except for some illegal highlights on twitter that is

And most people won't even do that.

No China is very different, the money used was meant to help its own infrastructure and help bring through Chinese players as they were trying to become a footballing force. Instead club's abused this to sign whoever they wanted at the detriment of its own development. In Saudi they're purposely trying to sell themselves as a league with big stars giving no regards to their own domestic players, on top of wanting to host a world cup too. Hell even the Saudi 2nd div are buying foreigners too albeit not as well known.

Oh, so it's like Russia from 1998 when they started buying all those African players. Except, Saudi Arabia is much less fun and hospitable.
To a far more extreme level, PIF amongst other owners in Saudi Arabia aren't going to have their money taken away like the Chinese did or dry up like the Russians any time soon.
God I can't wait for the day when oil prices crash for good and we all start using renewable energy and electric cars.

What's really sad is that in the next few years kids will start wearing more and more Saudi club shirts. Its already happening in England it's either PSG, Man City or Al Nassr. I literally haven't seen anyone asides from a match day wear a Juve shirt post Ronaldo, except for one the other week one was wearing last seasons 3rd shirt with Bremer of all people on the back.

You can only throw money away for so long before you start to think about it. They are literally going to have over a billion euro loss this year alone.
It's literally sports washing. They're doing it with golf, and even boxing, just imagine how long it'll be till they start to think let's bring some NFL or NBA matches to Saudi Arabia. Hopefully Arabs don't like those sports

Cool, but that still doesn't translate to eyeballs watching, and that's where the money and longevity are.

They aren't even getting GOOD players. They are all lower-mid players they are overpaying for, who will not play well there. The reason people watch in the first place is competition and there is ZERO competition in Asia. Across the board.

3/4 of that place is either spitting-inside-their-house Chinese or gang rape central in India.

No one else in Asia matters. 100 years ago the Saudis were wiping their asses with sand and cutting their own heads off, in another 100 years, it'll be the same.

Musk burned Twitter because he felt like it.

I'm sure the Saudis can spare a billion.
