from redcafe:

Just looking at some of the fees demanded for the likes of Salah, Pericic and Morata (who isn't a regular starter), I was just wondering how much some of Manchester United Players should cost that are potentially on their way out of Old Trafford. We have a history of selling our players much cheaper in the past (Nistelrooy, Hienze, Chicharito, Wellbeck, Johny Evans all sold so cheap). I would say...

1. Darmian approx 35 £
2. Adnan Januzaj 20 £
3. Luke Shaw 35 £
4. Maruan Fellaini 40 £
5. David DeGea 70 £
6. Anthony Martial 45 £
7. Chris Smalling 60 £
8. Phil Jones 50 £

are these guys retarded?
some of them, yeah

There was some clause in his contract where Olympiakos gets a percentage of the fee in case of sale and a pretty high percentage iirc. I wonder if they're even pocketing €30M here.

But who are they signing to replace two of their best players?
New names. And they are not their best players, statistics put aside Salah is quite bad and it's a good move they are selling him. They will only improve now, just like without Totti.

Some Argentinian kid to replace Manolas. Lemos too.

Adam Ounas, Deulofeu, Juan Foyth and Florian Thauvin are some of the names they are chasing.

Pellegrini will probably come. And if they sell Paredes they will sign Seri.

Salah and Manolas are clearly two of their best players. I had to google Ounas and Foyth. A 20 year old Algerian and a 19 year old Argentine. They seem like the sort of players who we'll see the best of in 3-4 years time.

Thauvin has already joined Marseille, or at least I read that last week.

Hector Moreno from PSV :D
Not sure if Roma or Palermo.

Salah had good numbers but he was far away from being their best player. He doesn't play good and he fucks up way too much. Radja provides a lot more quality and he surely had a lot better season. Manolas fell apart in the second part of the season.

Thauvin was in Marseille on loan, they just bought him. I think they can sell him right away.

:boh: Roma and Juve are not moving much so far. We'll see what they carry in their bags.

Deulofeu is a worse player than Salah. Salah at least can run fast WITH the ball. Generally the names you mentioned are a bunch of no names.

I'm not a big fan of Salah. He's one dimensional and a bit brainless but his dimension is still dangerous, and this season he had his best return.

If everyone was fit I'd currently say Nainggolan was a step ahead of everyone at Roma, then you have a mix of Dzeko, Manolas, Strootman, Salah and possibly De Rossi in the next bunch. Just my humble opinion anyway.

They are paying big money for Seri (€35M) from what I'm reading. Berardi could replace Salah on the other hand but it's going to be a tough deal for them.

Fazio had a solid season for them. Maybe they could someone like Acerbi on the cheap to partner him.

Man kids these days... Few months of good form and they think they're ready for the elite teams.

Enjoy bench riding for majority of the season I guess :baus:
