I don't see how they are going to possibly afford Belotti. Unless of course Torino's president lies and sells him for far less than the €100m non-Italian release clause, Dortmund to Bayern style. But we all know Serie A presidents don't lie.

Milan have offered Torino €45M + bonuses for Belotti. Torino want €70M + Zapata + Niang. [Sky]

They could possibly offer 60M plus some of the garbage Mihajlovic rates (2 or 3 of Niang, Zapata, Kucka, Bertolacci)

I can't see Cairo rejecting that, it's too risky. Let's say Belotti fails miserably next season or a bad injury happens, he won't get more than 30M for him then.

None of them would start @ Juve. Conti, Kessie and Keita would be useful options off the bench. Belotti is too expensive to be a bench player, but there's no way he is displacing either Dybala or Higuain.

doesent matter if they would start or not, we have one of the best starting XI in the world which is damn hard to improve on. but all/most these players are quality options for a team that looks to finish in the top 4 and would like almost all to be signed by us. young players with tons of potential with a couple of experienced quality veterans, this is the kind of mercato they needed with the situation they were in. hopefully inter has a much worse mercato

We don't have a every week RB, khedira shouldn't be starting for us and we need another rockstar mid

Tolisso has potential, why not de rossi for a season or two? If only mongoloid wasnt so f'ing dumb.
out of the names linked to us, i like Fabinho the most. its either him or Tolisso who also wouldnt be bad, but we need and will get two mids i think so the 2nd one will be someone cheaper like Can or Paredes, no idea. De Rossi signed an extension few days ago for 2 more years iirc, scratch him.

Honestly we'd need both Tolisso and Fabinho.
Fabinho could play the RB role

when was the last time he played RB though? wed obviously sign him for the CM spots, and some few games at RB, sharing a little time with DA, DS and Barza there. as for Tolisso, not sure we can afford both, with also Schick, Berna/Keita, di Maria/Costa also coming. thats why i think it will be someone cheaper, like Can or Paredes. or a surprise name by Beppe

our weakeast position is midfield.
Plus Marchisio and Khedira are frail and over 30.
A revamp with 2 good and young cms is totally needed

But... why? :lol2:

Belotti ain't worth half of that. What's with the hype? Sure might be able to score some goals but that's just crazy. It's so fucking stupid he has a similar price tag to Mbappe who's like ten times the player.

€100m is just the release clause for abroad, Spanish teams have had silly clauses like this for years. It's just that teams are now rich enough to pay these stupid amounts.

He scored 26 legaue goals this season aged 23, so it's obvious why teams will fall over themselves to sign him. Teams always want scorers. Of course Immobile did the same and then flopped at Dortmund, some players just suit their own league, as he has shown again this season with Lazio. But I reckon Belotti will have the better career, he's more rounded and very aggressive.

No. They want players capable of doing everything on their own, scoring and pulling team out of shit when it's needed. Mbappe can do that stuff. Belotti will never be able to do it simply because he's limited and a type of player that Luca Toni is. Sure, he might be able to score goals, but teams abroad nowadays would never want such players and there's no way they'd pay a similar amount they paid for Neymar, Bale, Ronaldo and now possibly Mbappe.

IMO it'd be horrible buying Belotti for 50mln, let alone double the amount. Such players can be shut down as you can always know what to expect from them. That would probably the worst move in the history of football transfers.

Mbappe is a once every 10-15 years player potentially, not everyone can buy him.

I knew this was heading down the "I hate typical Italian CFs route" but I played along anyway. Belotti is nothing like Luca Toni, other than being an Italian #9.

Not everyone can buy Belotti for the 100mln buyout clause. But apparently, according to you, teams fall over others to buy him.

It has nothing to do with my hate toward typical Italian poachers that are limited but it's just the fact that teams abroad would never buy suck players. Nowadays it's more popular to play with 1 striker, and that striker would never be somebody like Belotti.

So we'll see. I'm really curious to see which club will be after him (read: buy him) this summer. Or next. And I'm dying to see if he'd make it and if he's worth even 50mln.

Don't worry I won't bury my head in the sand. If he explodes abroad and justifies the price tag I'll even make a thread saying how wrong was I.
