How does this thing with Turan work? Say for example Laporta wins the presidency and he feels like Turan is a waste of a transfer fee and wants him returned to Atletico, will Atletico be obligated to buy him back from Barça? Or can they say 'fuck it, we're taking the money and buying some one else".
:boh:

Can only think it is all already agreed, because the deal wouldn't really seem to work if either Atletico or Turan was able to block the deal.

Can someone explain to me why Inter are pushing so hard for Perisic?

He's an okay player, but not one that has ever looked remotely worth the size of fee that is being spoken about.

Because it's Inter and they pushed equally hard for Podolski and Shaqattack.

Inter, and also Milan, are stuck where we were 5 years ago. You are basically taking whatever you can get. Perisic is not first choice but he's better than what they got, maybe. It's a hard place to get out of unless you have a saint as your sporting director.

Part of my curiousity around the push for Perisic is that I can't figure out now what Inter's plans are regarding formation.

Nah, those guys were clearly on the way out of their clubs.

I haven't seen any clear indication that Wolfsburg actually want to sell Perisic.

money spending-wise, Inter is back to their Moratti days, except that they cannot buy likes of Ronaldo and Vieri these days. They'll try that for a few years before realizing they have to invent another Calciopoli to win something.

Beats me, he never looked special to me. Does he play on the left wing for his club as well?
At Brugge he was great, one of their best players on the team and for Wolfsburg, he didn't do bad either, he played Schurrle out of the team in March /April after he got back from his injury.
