not sure how Gago is any different, tbh. I am not saying Muntari is anything more than a half-decent player (a back up really) ... just that Gago is nothing more than that either. If anything, I find Gago to be weak mentally, which for me is a bigger turnoff than less talent, considering neither of them is a sublime player anyway. It's a wash, at best, as far as I am concerned. And considering Muntari is already on board, a potential Gago transfer would be pointless. They would bring Gago in to replace Montolivo for the time being and potentially earn a permanent spot on the team. Montolivo himself is not good enough to play for Milan, he is just a transitional player, and Gago is even worse. In short, this would be a money-saving, depth-forming move for Milan that would not improve the team one bit not only in the short but also in the long term. Expecting to somehow change things around and make the CL in 2015 would be delusional, as far as I am concerned. Instead of making a side-step move like Gago, they should either get an ageing quality player or invest in youth with talent.
