Before last night they had Carrick, Cleverley, Anderson & Giggs as their CM players. Not exactly a group of players to fear.

Now you add Herrera to this list, you have the same problem, very soft, midfield, with not many options.

Fellaini massivley add's to that group, and should have been the easier transfer, but they messed it up, and their arrogance thought they could get him on the cheap £16 million.....first bid !!

Fergie wanted him, and he turned United down when he was 19, move was to big at the time.

Its a complete lie that he was a last option, people are using that to attack them.

Lazio really fucked up today. No yilmaz, no quagliarella, sold kozak leaving them short in attack
Yeah, they really cocked things up.

Reminiscent of a January mercato they messed up that caused a falling out between Tare and Reja, that ultimately resulted in Reja leaving the club.

Yeah, Fellaini is a great signing for Man Utd - they just handled it really badly.

Still can't believe Madrid sold Ozil, much more than I can't believe that we actually got him. He's a top player and I hope we continue with getting a big player every summer. Still, our squad is still lacking in depth and quality, but I think this is the boost we need to at least get a top four spot this year.

I'm not surprised to be honest, it's nothing new for madrid selling their established players, then to overpay for other players. The list is long: sneijder, robben, higuain, Özil and more.
