These buy back clauses make more sense to me than the co-ownerships, at least from the big club's view. They take away the risk of being burned by the smaller team which co-owns a certain player, as it happened in our case with Parma and Giovinco. Instead of co-owning a talent, you simply sell him for a smaller price (same price you'd get for selling 50% of the rights), but you add a buy back clause, where you might end up losing nothing, or just a million or two.
