'Liverpool will demand exciting young striker Christian Tello in exchange for Barcelona target Pepe Reina'. Or at least that's what the Daily Mirror is claiming this rainy Wednesday morning. Apparently Brendan Rodgers is not really keen on Reina replacing Victor Valdes at Barcelona (understandably) but could be persuaded if Tello (whose release clause is set at £8.5m) is allowed to go the other way.
It may depend on whether Tello is happy with starting only 12 La Liga games this season and is happy to wait for his chance at Barcelona or he wants to join a mid-table Premier League club.

Radamel Falcao has dismissed speculation about his future and reiterated his commitment to Atletico Madrid.
The Colombian striker has been heavily linked with a move to French side Monaco, with Chelsea and Real Madrid also thought to be among the other clubs interested in his signature.
But the 27-year-old has rubbished such rumours and maintains he is firmly focused on his club, and their Copa del Rey final against city rivals Real Madrid on Friday.
"I don't know anything, and the only thing that I have in my mind and keep concentration is on Atletico Madrid," he is quoted as saying.
"I don't know anything. I keep myself apart of what is being said. If it was for the press, I have already been transferred to all the teams in Europe, like Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
"I don't find true any news that is being said about me".
He added: "The only real thing is that I am under contract until 2016, all the rest is only speculation. I don't know anything about Monaco. I have my mind focused where I am."
