arshavin was decent in his first season but just didn't care after that, rosicky is by no means a terrible purchase i still think he has something to offer to this arsenal side, chamakh yeah that was bad business but it was free so meh, anyways he still discovered the potential in Van Persie, made Henry the player we became to be, sagna, fabregas, toure, wilshire, oxlaide chamberlain, well i could go on really

He doesn't have anything to work with anymore, to be fair. I know he played his part in the current situation, but right now who else are they going to get? Its money that club needs. The extent of his current plan will be more clear in a couple of years I guess, but he still quietly pulled in one of the most exciting youngsters in the world. Also surprised at the patience they gave Allegri, which is a positive for the club.

i think most are lead to believe that he's pretty much gone in the summer, the question is really whether Rijkaard, Van basten or Donadoni are prepared to take the reigns, but knowing berlusconi he will weave them a load of lies of how he will invest in the team blah blah and instead be working with a team of largely mediocre players
