Sky Sports News understands Chelsea have agreed a £25million deal in principle to sign Brazil international Oscar.

The European champions have been chasing the Internacional star for several months, while Tottenham also wanted the 20-year-old.

Chelsea were said to have failed in a previous £20m bid for Oscar, but are now understood to have succeeded with an improved offer.

A transfer could now be finalised, despite the playmaker's agent having previously claimed a move to Stamford Bridge was looking increasingly uncertain.

Oscar is expected to arrive in the United Kingdom on Tuesday with the Brazilian Olympic team.

The youngster, capped six times for his country, is regarded as one of the best young talents in Brazil.

Destro is superior in finishing and strength. Borini is more of a Suarez kind of CF while Destro is more Cavani type.. I like Destro the most - especially because he is a born poacher - Borini could play both as CF and SS but I believe he is neither TBH. Lack of physique as a CF and lack of technique as a SS.. He didn't impress me in Roma either - scoring easy goals where he just had to roll the ball over the line.. Destro is much more promising and I believe Zeman, Conte and Co. share that opinion with me since they're all after Destro rather than Borini.

Brendan Rogers bought Borini because he's young and scored goals for AS Roma (regarded as a top three club in italy by foreigners) and so they probably thought he was an incredible good option. I bet Rogers don't even know who Destro is.. Prandelli called up Borini because he played for Roma and had superior technique to Destro.. A stupid call IMO.. So for me it's obviously Destro all the way!!

I'm sure Brendan Rogers coaching Borini at Chelsea and Swansea doesn't have anything to do with it. Silly Brit probably figures Borini can play in his system without much adjustment. :howler:
