Nope. This is incorrect on so many levels.
Eriksen is looking for a new challenge. He's clearly jaded and has been offered a generous contract at Spurs. He's had his eye on Madrid, but think he could also be tempted by a Juve or Bayern type. A Champions League contender with a very good shout at domestic success also. Utd are not favourites, but he may go there if we push him out and there are no other suitors. Certainly would not be Eriksen's first, second or third choice.
As for penny-pinchers? LOL! You laugh at the stupid money Man Utd spunk on average players, and the salaries Arsenal pay to some absolute no-hopers. But when a club is sensible with its finances - one without the backing of an oil baron or a middle east country - that's a bad thing too. Your statements are all rhetoric and no substance.
