He could retire and live a happy life even after he earned his first 5mln. The point is, he reached a level already when he doesn't need to worry about money anymore. If you're just a regular person, not an entrepreneur, what difference does it make to earn 15 or 30 mln per year? None. You still can afford everything you want. The Chinese are just taking advantage of Obama being stupid as he does not realize he's resigning from things that cannot be bought.
But you make it sound like it's HIM that did something wrong. But the truth is: every player does that. I agree, they can settle after first million, let alone 5, 10 million euros. However, you don't see players do that. They always want bigger contract, they leave clubs and chase more and more. Some say they chase fame but I'd rather say how they chase after money. Do you realize how many business can shut down because they earn billions? None of them want to slow down or quit. They just want more. It's a sickness and people love it.

I don't agree every player does that. If that was the case we would see a bigger exodus of players to China which wasn't the case, only scrubs like Hulk, Oscar, Guarin, Witsel etc went there.

Unfortunately, I also need to disagree regarding the comparison to businesses. A company that earns billions cannot simply close down because their stock value is much bigger than their equity value. Consequently, if the company would be preparing to close down their value would plummet as the stock value is based on expectations. They would be left with equity value which is for example land, real estate, equipment etc. Do you think Apple's equity value is similar to their stock value? I don't think so.

To conclude, I think Aubameyang is making a mistake because he cannot eat more than his stomach can fit and I don't think he realizes that.

So what if a footballer doesn't have "ambition"? People only care because they're football fans, but otherwise there's nothing that admirable about chasing "ambition". It's just a different form of feeding ego. What if he wants to make easy money and kick back and enjoy life with his family instead of the intense pressure of top level European football? :boh:

Then how come every contract extension players get a higher amount of money? Even at Juve. But pretty much every club. If players are have such love towards the club I guess they'd ask for lower, not higher wages.

I find it hilarious that people are able to get all judgemental about another man's choices. I respect the shit out Assou-Ekoto, and whatever other "mercenaries" they getting theirs, he put in the work and put himself into a position to be able to make that decision. Simple as that.

There are such players, for example Del Piero signing extension in blanco. However, players getting raise is about showing them respect. They do what only few people can do so they are being paid accordingly. Also, the better the player become the more the club earns thanks to him so I'm not sure what's your point here.

Although I wouldn't make the same decision, who am I to judge?

That only holds true to a certain extent. Some players have worked incredibly hard to get where they are, but there also quite a few who are simply insanely talented. I'm not sure Eden Hazard is such a hard worker for instance.

That's totally cool. That's his life in the end. I'm just saying he's choosing the easy way. Humanity wouldn't be where it is now if all people were like that when they are given a chance to do more than just enjoy life. Also, I don't think there is no pressure from the Chinese if they pay you tons of monies.

Is he going to make the world a better place playing in Europe rather than China? Maybe he doesn't give a shit about winning titles. Big deal.

I know nothing about Eden's work ethic, but I do know that it took some dedication and lots of time. How old are these kids when they go to football academies?!

Either way, I'd love to see club football grow on the international scale and if it's China that is going to compete with the European market so be it

Catalan newspapers are awesome. And the Barca fans are so blind, and stupid, it hurts.

Now all the strategy to get Verratti is to see if he will be back training with PSG on July 4. If he doesn't, transfer to Barca is a sure thing.

And no one of these illiterate turds actually read PSG's news since we know Verratti will not be back to training on July 4, but on July 10, because his holidays started later than PSG players who had no international games after the end of the regular season.

And on July 4, twitter, and Catalan newspapers will go wild in joy because Verratti will be nowhere to be seen, because no one actually read PSG's news before posting BS all around.

:sergio:

Sorry for the insults, but anyone that tries to post news should I least look if said news are made up or true.
