I agree, it's absurd. But if you're Torino, and you just saw a 28-year old Higuain getting sold for 90m Euros, and you see crazy transfer fees for players like Martial, even crazier numbers from China, why wouldn't you hold out for 100m for an extremely talented well-rounded striker who will probably lead the line for Italy in WC2018.

It's far too much, but Torino are just taking advantage of the market.
Higuain scored more than 100 goals on less than 200 matches for Real. He was Real's top goal-scorer once. When he arrived in Napoli they paid 40mln for him. He spent years there being one of the best goalscorers in Europe and being the best in Italy when it comes to strikers. He had like 70 goals on close to 100 matches. He was also scoring for Argentina, a goal every other match. His price was realistically high considering his performances. Very high. Then, we happened to sell Pogba. We wanted a striker and Napoli managed to milk every penny out of us, eventhough his price was surely around 70mln. There was a football history behind Higuain where he played for one of the best teams in the world while being their best goalscorer. He was the best goalscorer, or always top 2, in Italy for many years. He had a big CV covered with shitload of goals. Belotti has one season in Torino. Not to mention how it's Torino and they can't hold out for a huge price simply because they are a shit club.

China teams overpay but they are not an indicator of prices. Also, Belotti wouldn't go to China.

Yeah I mean to say from next season obviously.

Milan have a glorious chance to return to cl as early as next year.
Mercato has barely started and they only signed a bunch of decent players, not some world-beaters. Inter still looks better than them if we look at the names only and they haven't signed anybody yet.

not really, he was only in his last season. the 2 before than he was 4th with 18 and 5th with 17 goals. his last season at Real too he "only" had 16 goals. the guy was 29 and this was the last chance to get any decent sum for him (unless some China club went full retard again in 2-3 years), and Napoli did an excellent sale. Belotti is what, 23-24? you can easily get a big sum for him again in 3-4 years and return the money you invested in him, which is why paying big for him makes a lot more sense

Just check how many goals he scored at Real. And Napoli. That's clear enough.

As for the second part... what? You think and expect some club to buy him for 80mln or so, and then sell him for more than 100mln in 3-4 years? And even that would be like 5-10mln profit, considering wages. Man, you're running on some drugs. :p

Dont underestimate the retardness level the market will reach. 100M will be the new 20M
