According to Spanish Newspaper 'Marca', Legrottaglie is close to Atletico Madrid. The player does not feature in the plans of Claudio Ranieri and has been offered to various clubs.

Yeah he scored but that was a few days back mate.Despite I guess he won't ever start for Juve again.I wish we could sell him before the tranfer window is closed.

Legro was supposed to be the next Nesta.Since he joined Juve he never played over 30-40 matches in one season to be fit and show if he worths to be a starter.Just unlucky not a bad player imo...

Legrottaglie Delighted With Victory

Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie was over the moon to have scored in the victory over Reggina and believes the Bianconeri can continue to keep clean-sheets if they work together.

Legrottaglie opened the scoring in the 4-0 win and was a rock at the heart of the of the Juve defence. The towering centre-back was only starting because of the horrific injury to Jorge Andrade that will rule out the Portugal star for the rest of the season.

"I am really pleased. It is a day I will remember for a long time," said Legrottaglie. "It was great to hear the cheers from the fans, especially when I think of all the whistles I used to receive.

"My goal? For a long time I have been scoring with my head. Now I will have to start getting used to scoring with my feet.

"As for the defence I believe it went very well. Criscito answered all the critics with his performance on the field. For me I believe our defence can be strong if we all work together as a unit."

Legrottaglie joined Juventus from Chievo in 2003 but endured a nightmare first couple of seasons in Turin and was loaned out to Bologna in 2005. He returned to the Bianconeri in 2006 and will be hoping for a second crack of the whip in Serie A.

Legrottaglie: We Will Win 1-0

Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie cannot wait for Sunday's derby with Torino and believes team-mate Domenico Criscito will score the winning goal for the Bianconeri.

Juventus and Torino meet in the first Derby della Mole since 2003. The Bianconeri go into the game on the back of two excellent results against Roma and Reggina and Legrottaglie is confident of another positive result.

"We're going to win 1-0, scored by Criscito on a corner kick," stated Legrottaglie. "It would be great for the team and a well-deserved prize for him. The week started well for us, I hope it may end the same way.

"It still is a much-awaited game with no favourites. I just hope it'll be spectacular and entertaining for the public. There's much anticipation after all these years, although the teams have changed a lot since last time. But the appeal is in the game itself, not in the players on the field.

"I have a lot of friends in town and many support Torino so the game is special for me too. Some of these play for Torino, like Corini, Lanna and Barone, former team-mates of mine at Chievo. It will be great to face them in front of a big crowd".
