He was Cesena's highest rated player against Lazio even though they lost 3-0, apparently he made a couple of great saves from Candreva and Lulic.

Just watching the goals he wasn't really at fault for any. Would have been a miracle save to stop Candreva's, Mauri's went in off the post at speed, only on the second goal might he have done better with his positioning. But Cesena look like a very poor defensive team based on that game, so he is going to be busy this season.

Good for him that he's going to be tested quite a bit thought it the season. Similar to what Perin had to endure with Pescara a couple of years ago. Bardi, Perin and Leali - Italy have some pretty good young keepers coming through.

Don't think he could do anything on the second goal.

It is inevitable in those circumstances that the keeper's weight is going to be going the wrong way and so it is extremely difficult to make saves when the header is put back across the goal.

I guess so. Plus there were 3 defenders screening him so he couldn't see, and none of them dealt with the ball.

Couldn't do much to stop those goals, Cesena defence sucks.

Future seems bright for this kid. Hope he stays in Serie A for 2-3 more years and then he might be ready to take over from Buffon.

Great movement on Morata's blunder, he was very quick to cover his angle and you could tell he was into a miraculous save there..
