Nicolò Savona has complained about an ankle discomfort during this morning's training of Juventus. He should be assessed for GenoaJuve @junews24com

I don’t get what’s so impressive about him. Looks like an average right back.
It's early to judge, but he is a remarkable talent and if he continues like what he has done in the beginning of season i see a bright future ahead of him.

But what is so bright ? He doesn’t stand out offensively or defensively?

if he wasn’t 21 but instead 26 none of you would be impressed

he scored on his debut (and an action goal at it as a cb), he pocketed kvaradona during his 3rd serie a start
debut goals means little to be honest but still nice confidence boost. zakaria and vlahovic also scored on debuts.

did well against kvara sure, but it helps entire team plays defensive football. let's see him in attacking team.

Good news at lJuventus regarding the conditions of Nicolò Savona, who yesterday felt some discomfort in his ankle The defender has participated this morning in the full training session with the group and is therefore available for GenoaJuve @junews24com

funny how at the beginning of the season the biggest question marks were defensively, specifically at fullback. Savona is a big reason why that’s no longer that big of a concern. He and Kalulu both deserve playing time. Good problem to have.

will be tested as a cb in training. tall and strong enough for the position, not reckless, his positioning looked good too so far, and handles 1v1s well too. i also remember chiellini starting as a fullback, hopefully savona improves with good coaching too. i can see it working

he played CB last season for next gen, and thats when he kinda took off. That was a 3 man backline but he still profiles well there.

I really think fullback is a bigger issue now than CB. We have enough guys that can play CB. FB not so much now that Bremer is out and Kalulu, etc are needed more central. Like, i dont want to see Danilo there, but the options are limited.

I think this might work. He isnt really strong on the attacking aspect of his game but his defensive skills looks nice (although RB and CB are two completely different things)
Locatelli - I dont think he fits the role

I'd keep Savona as RB and move him into CB when Danilo, Kalulu and Gatti need another rotational option. I see Savona as a future CB but would prefer him at the RB to gain experience and improve his technique.
