Completely disagree. Cancelo was always top 3 best in our CL matches including Ajax 1st leg and MDS always bottom 3.
yup, and he was huge in the come back against ATM, best player outside Ronaldo. He also had an assist in the first leg of Ajax, so hardly a disaster as some are painting. Spinazzola was good against ATM too but was only playing because Sandro was suspended, so of course Max threw the corpse right back out there as soon as he could. Can’t believe people are actually trying to justify that bullshit. Must be Italianz.

Oh for sure. The moar young’uns turn out great, the better. Just like we should all hope Moise Kean turns into a top class CF. ;)
Moise Kean has limited talent, doesn’t matter if he’s 16, 26, 36. The improvements, if made, will be minimal. What about that concept is difficult to understand for you two ding dongs @DAiDEViL Were you waiting around for Sturaro because he was young too?

Says the putz who wants 29 year old Icardi here in his place. The same Icardi who got benched by “limited talent” Moise Kean. :lol2:

If they were here a full season, I think it’s safe to say that over time both would’ve won a place. This is one of the worst midfields in our history.
Yeah. I think everyone is interested in seeing them in our midfield as soon as possible. And hopefully they turn into top class mids. With our current squad and our financial position we could really use some luck with regards to youth players developing.

Yeah that’s me!

I say this as someone that’s never been anti Icardi....no thanks. Focus on younger players. I don’t even like Kean but I’d rather see him play than some loanee. If we have an opportunity to get Scamacca, get him. Should’ve gotten him in the summer but whatever. I still think Vlahovic is the main target though, so not sure we’ll be buying any 9 in the winter.
Do you ever get tired of getting dunked on? My legs do.

Bring him back in the summer pls. No rush, let him have a pre-season to adapt and prepare. Don't fast-track him into this dysfunctional, broken, horrendous excuse of a squad mid-season. It'll overwhelm the poor child, with all that pressure on him.

There’s talk that mourinho wants Morata. I’d swap out Morata for Icardi in a second. Still don’t think we’d target Icardi though. Try and get Scamacca please.
Ok retard. :lol3:

Stick to having your aneurysms about Allegri not bringing Fagioli straight from Serie C into our starting XI.

For those that have seen him, where would he fit in here? Would be one of two sitting midfielders or is he more suitable in a CM trio? If he's in a trio, is he sitting deeper? a destroyer higher up or a playmaker? I've only see him play against us, and some short highlights that doesn't really give me any ideas. Glad to see him come, but if he is a destroyer I guess he'll do better than the rest of our CMs but our problem is that almost all of them are more or less destroyers. We need technical ability. So, does he add some flair?
Ever since we bought him, I've seen quite a few Genoa games, must be around 20 by now.

On a technical level he's ready IMO. The question would be how quickly he could adapt to Juve, it's no small feat for a 20yo kid. We like them bulked up too and Rovella is kinda thin.

Position wise you can play him as a regista in 3-man midfield (he played that when Badelj wasn't there) and as a B2B too but his output going forward is not that great. He's not an attacking CM/dribbler in the sense of a ball hog. His main strengths are: definitely above average passing - both short and long. I really like the timing of his passes. He gets it on point, unlike Bentancur who is terrible at that and very often that ends up being a giveaway to the opposition.
He's a quick mofo who can do effective turns with the ball, he's hard to dispossess (something that Arthur is apparently good at but his passing sucks).
He sees a lot and makes a lot of forward passes. It's sometimes funny to see such a young kid indicating with his hand where the ball needs to go. He does that even to the experienced players like Masiello/Behrami etc.
His teammates trust him a lot, he receives a lot of passes when Genoa is under pressure, he moves their game forward along with Badelj. BTW those two also played together in 2-man midfield a couple of times. To do it for Juve, all he's missing is most probably more muscles.
He's a set piece specialist, corners and long range FKs are dangerous when he hits those.
Defensively he's good at covering a lot of ground and makes quite a few interceptions. Tackles aren't really his thing.

If you go back a few pages you should see a few of my comments. Personally I'd prefer to keep him at Genoa until the end of the season because he's a sure starter for them.
Now, seeing that Max has already rejected Arthur and Ramsey, there's some more room for him here. It seems to me Allegri is very disappointed with both Bentancur and Rabiot and that could possibly give Rovella even more room for playing. He definitely would be useful, we have no vice-Locatelli who dictates the play without shitting in the bed, this kid could do it properly as long as he's mentally up for it.
