Locatelli was starting for Milan at 18.

Doesn’t matter how mediocre Milan were at the time, that’s a better achievement that starting for the likes of Genoa at a similar age.

Scored a screamer against us as well. Anyway, it turned out great for him that Milan didn’t believe in him. He became a very good midfielder under De Zerbi at Sassuolo, made his debut with the NT, won the Euros and got a move to his childhood club in Juventus.

In the next few days, a meeting will take place between Juventus and Genoa to discuss Rovella: Juve are seriously considering bringing him back 6 months in advance and are studying a plan to convince Genoa. They could propose a few young U23 players like Filippo Ranocchia, who is doing amazing with Vicenza and is ready to play in Serie A. The midfielder (2001) is also liked by Sampdoria, that started a discussion with Juve as a possible solution for the Ihattaren case.

According to what our editorial team has gathered, Massimiliano Allegri would prefer to have the young Genoan Nicolò Rovella as a reinforcement in midfield rather than some second-rate purchases. Juventus could convince the Grifoni to start the player first by lending Ranocchia

pretty sure Rovella leads (or led before his injury at least) Serie A in minutes played. Guy was playing 90 minutes consistently. He's definitely ready for this shit club and would, in a just world, walk into the starting XI. But with Allegri you never know. Even Loca wasn't starting in the beginning.

Locatelli came on as a sub in the first two games and then was a regular starter since then. A tenuous claim, to say the least.

imagine not starting Locatelli immediately with this group of shit. Wait, I don’t have to. Love how this forum is full of “well ACTUALLY” nerds though, as if that even changes the point.

Yeah. Because Locatelli had so much time to train with and be integrated into the squad. His signing was completed on August 18th and you think he was going to start in our first match on the 22nd?

Became a starter beginning with 3rd match of the season and has started 18 of our 21 matches since. But, sure thing dude, he didn’t start in the beginning lol

One of the benefits of the team getting shit is watching the meltdown. Some people lose their mind and start complaining about literally everything.

Any post DanielZ makes about anyone over the age of 24, dont take them seriously. He fully lost his few remaining marbles when it comes to younger players in relation to Juve.

Like Juve are out to get Rovella in some agenda so he has to build a narrative preemptively in case we don't take him back this window or we do and he dont work out.

The simple answer is the easiest. Locatelli had just joined late from vacation and was being eased in gently fitness wise for two whole games of the bench. The scandal.

And it was aleast a 3rd of the forum going on about this at the time like it was a capital offense. But Daniel is special in that despite having the hindsight of seeing it played out as brief precaution and being full time starter ever since the first two weeks, he lacks the sense to see it still for exactly what it was.

For those that have seen him, where would he fit in here? Would be one of two sitting midfielders or is he more suitable in a CM trio? If he's in a trio, is he sitting deeper? a destroyer higher up or a playmaker? I've only see him play against us, and some short highlights that doesn't really give me any ideas. Glad to see him come, but if he is a destroyer I guess he'll do better than the rest of our CMs but our problem is that almost all of them are more or less destroyers. We need technical ability. So, does he add some flair?
